Energy Shield w/ Bodyguard Options

If the energy shield fails, and the attacker hits the desired target, can the damage be bodyguarded? If the target has evade or LS defense, can they use the SA/Force power to avoid the damage before trying to body guard?

Yes and Yes.

The reason for this is because Bodyguard occurs at a later step than Evade, Energy Shield, and the like.
