Would a GenoHarradan assassin benefit from Admiral Yularen's opportunist CE when it is attacking with poison blade? It specifies that this attack is a melee attack, so I would think not, but wanted to check.

Looks like I was wrong about that when I commented on your squad:

what about poison blade counting as a melee attack?Blink

It does count as a melee attack, but Yularen's CE doesn't specify nonmelee attacks, it says "followers without the Melee Attack special ability".

Quote:
Admiral Yularen

Q+: Does Admiral Yularen's commander effect affect a character with Melee Attack if it uses an ability or power that makes the attack nonmelee, like Lightsaber Throw?

A+: No. The character still has Melee Attack, and does not qualify for this commander effect.

The reverse is also true.

Poisoned Blade does not grant the Melee Attack special ability and thus does not prevent a character with it from taking advantage of Admiral Yularen's commander effect.
