I'm confused. If I'm not within six of jar jar when I attack him or someone else (even if that someone else is within six of Jar Jar) nothing happens, right? Also, does it have to be an "attack" role or can it be a force ability attack that gets redirected or a SA like Kohun Infestation? Does any type of attack/damage potential have a chance of coming back to the attacker?

It triggers whenever Jar Jar is targeted, even if you are not within 6 and even if it is a targeting ability instead of an attack. When redirected, it goes to someone else within 6, which could be an enemy or an ally. If you are not within 6, Jar Jar can still redirect the attack but not back to you.

Wouldn't jar jar teamed with Yoda's failed saves re-rolls be a formidable squad? Was any squad with them as the core a top tier squad?
