I was also thinking It's a trap! to sort of show that she was good a tracking people.

Not sure if we want to go with Bounty Hunter or not since she is young when she is a mando and not yet a bounty hunter. Or do we need to even worry about that?

Explosive expert is a cool idea. Maybe Satchel Charge...the issue for me is that I don't really know what kind of direction or vision we have for this piece. Are we talking a high-cost attacker (like the current Mira), a mid-cost shooter (ala Jaq), or a low-cost shooter/tech piece (somewhat like Baby Boba and/or T3M4)? It's hard for me to make a decision until I know the end goal.

I do recall that Mira in the KOTOR game liked to use her wrist rockets and other techno-gadgets, so maybe something with Overload would be fun (somewhat like Shae Vizla, but obviously different). Maybe Overload/SatchelCharge/Missiles (Wrist Rockets) and mobile attack (she moved around a lot when fighting with Hanharr)? Low 20s cost? I dunno, I'm just making this up as I go.

I hear yah. Since she is in the Mando faction that sort of means she is younger 14 or less. After that I think she would be fringe. I am not sure why we grouped her as a Mando. Or was it because we felt the Mandos needed a unique piece?

She picked up all her demolition skills when she was young. After she lost her family she turned into a bounty hunter/tracker

She's a mobile door-boomer with some Nade-punch. She's cheap so she is an option for Jaster Mareel squads. I'm liking Agile for her, over Mobile Attack. Should it be Wrist Rockets over Nades 20?

This is kinda what I was thinking about after I heard you describe her earlier. This is just a quick throw-out as a possibility of what she could be. I'm completely open to a total rewrite. I was initially thinking that she'd be a mid-cost unique shooter, but the Mandos already have some of those (Mirta and Shae) so this cost-range seems like it might be more worthwhile.

Oh, she also needs a real name. :)

I would be fine with this as a start unless we are moving her to Fringe.

And maybe that is an option make her fringe and have her cost less in Mando squads. Just throwing it out there.

If she becomes fringe that will change the order of the set list, which I think Dave would like to avoid.

We can go a completely different direction with her if you'd like. I just always need a base to start with, for design purposes, and anything can change after that.

NOW would be the time for such a change rather than later. As it is, I'm not sure that the order of Fringe has been settled as far as the naming.

I have not added any info to the thread/posts yet, hoping this all will get sorted out soon.

So looking back through the set list discussion, Mira, Neo Crusader was in there from the get go as a Mando. I looked at the Neo Crusaders and Mira is not mentioned at all. I looked on Mira's wookie page and there is nothing mentioned there about the neo crusades either. I am not exactly sure where Scott came up with this?

What do you guys want to do? Move her to Fringe or keep her in Mandos.

I'm easy-going either way. I think design might be easier and simpler in Mandos, since we already have so many Fringe pieces that serve so many roles. If she's a door-piece then I can't see her replacing Uggies/R7s/Veteran-Uggies. If she's an attacker then there are multiple low-cost Fringers already. If I had to choose, I'd personally rather see her be a useful Mando piece than a semi-useful Fringe piece.

But that's just me. I'm not the one who was inspired to include her in the setlist, so I'd rather hear from that person first.

I also don't have a problem going into Fringe either. Although she would be competing with boba as a new shooter. I really don't have a problem with that either.

You could also go the Rohlan Dyre route, ie Fringe with the Mandalorian SA.

Moving her to Fringe is probably the best option that really fits her character. I know that screw the PT order up and that will be a pain. I haven't started any of the cards yet, so we don't have to worry about changing all that as well.

So off the top of my head when she is fringe I wonder how overload works with Tarpals. Since she is Unique, we don't have to worry about swarms and I don't think this would be a huge problem, but I was just thinking out loud.

So, what I came up with is a Bounty Hunter that specializes in explosives and is force sensitive. All stats are lower the OR Mira except the DAM. Force could be changed to 2 with no problem. I originally didn't have mobile attack, but I thought the piece needed something for extra survivability. Instead of Accurate you have rigged detonators, which makes a bunch of sense for some that specializes in explosives. I thought about proximity mines.

So this piece can get a +18 for 30 if with Talon, Thrawn, or Yularren. Without
stealth we avoid Black Sun I think. Could provide Seps Force Sense, for the cost.

Could be interesting with Mando the Lesser and Snare Rifle teamed up with the mando QM. But I am not seeing a whole lot breaking potential by having the Mando ability tied to this fig. Charing fire could be interesting if you wanted to send her on a suicide mission.

I like the 2nd version, personally. I like Rigged Detonators with Nades and Overload. I also like the Mobile/Agile combo. She's +12 at best, plus any CEs she might receive (up to +16, not +18).

At 35pts, though, I'd think her HP need to jump to at least 70. I'm also hesitant to have her attack so low (for a 35pt piece), but with Rigged Detonators I think that might be the right call.

Force Sense is a great choice. She's actually quite a useful tech package (satchel charge, force sense, mobile nades).

I agree that her HP is low, but I wanted to stay in the price range. I could see it go to 90 and maybe up it a point. I was just trying to stay in the same general area as other fringe pieces we have out there Namely Zuckass BH. But you might be right about going up and staying at 35. Maybe 80 is the right answer for HP?

Yeah 12+4 is 16 isn't it. Well....

We haven't used Rigged Detonators a lot before (just on 44pt Zam), so I think her HP should be dependent on how effective that is. RD on a piece with double-nades and mobile-twin is pretty strong; I like the combo and I wouldn't really want to drop it, so if it's strong then I think we could compensate by lowering her HP (I'd suggest she start at 70hp).

Good = fun. Too good = not fun.

I added overload back in. I think in the copying and pasting it got left behind along the way. Please PT wit it added in there. I have one question about Overload and Tarpals. How many times would Mira be able to throw grenades on her turn?

IIRC correctly, overload is worded the same as Tarpals, so they don't stack.

Well, poop. This card is overflowing at 6pt, even without FT. :(

Do whatever you need to, just gonna throw out some thoughts that came to me while I was fiddling around with the space issues:

- Rigged Detonators/Satchel Charge.
+ Thorium Charge (range 6 door blown)

Explosives Expert [Enemies get -4 (x?) to save rolls against this character’s abilities whose names contain Grenades, Mines or Missiles]

Keep the Satchel if Thorium is too much on a Fringe piece. Rigged is what pushes it over on space, losing that is what prompted the change to EE. Dropping Force Sense might work, but that seems pretty useful to some factions.

Anyway, there are space issues to address.

I really like how she turned out. She's one of my favorite pieces in this V-set.
I had no idea she was a mandalorian, but I think you guys made the right call by going the Fringe with Mando SA route. She looks flavorful and fun to play. Double nades with Rigged detonators is brutal!

Seconded Death's comments. Love this piece and great new cheap shooter option as well as working well with Jabba fringe reinforcements. Excellent job.

I'm not a huge fan on the Mandalorian part of the piece (she was a slave, after all), but it isn't the biggest stretch the game has seen. I am surprised by how quickly she was finished.
As General_Grievous said, excellent job.
