Oh dang! Now the pressure is one, lol Thanks a lot mike! ;)

Here are my predictions... If Deri doesn't play Daala then here's what will happen.. (100% serious here.)

1. Jake K (the Master of Swarms) wins the Championship with an obnoxious Vong squad that neuters Kybuck & Daala all day.
2. Tim B (the eternal bridesmaid) with an Imperial Thrawn Swap that Daala was supposed to replace.
3. Laura K takes third with Talon in a spectacular display of skill but still can't get past the swarmy Vong.
4. Deri M. goes undefeated all day with some insane Rebel build, until he loses to Tim B by a lockout.
5. Etienne S. wins his third 5th place trophy with poggle/Durge on Speeder. He loses to Jake K because of 10pt gambit.
6. Jason K. makes top 8 with Gungans but one little mistake and his wife kills his entire backfield with Embo.
7. Lou V. runs Republic yobuck & wins every game in under 10 minutes, until Tim forces him play longer than 30mins.
8. Some random person running Daala gets crushed by the welsh master.

I'm sure top 8 will look something like the above.... I'm expecting 2 or 3 Daala squads could make top 8.
If Deri runs Daala then he automatically wins the whole thing. I recommend forfeiting if you get paired up with him playing Daala.
Maybe he would play in the final match with Jake's Vong or perhaps it would be a rematch with Bill R.
Deri would win, but thankfully I doubt Deri would ever roll with Daala.

Is anyone thinking about running 100 point Dooku at the Championships - I think he'd be a nightmare for the Daala counters like Yobuck and Lancer, and he can maybe hold his own against Daala as well as most things can.

I agree, Dooku can definitely hold his own in this meta IMHO. Chain Lightning will hurt Swarms (other Than Vong) and he is anti Yobuck with all the counter hitting. He can hold his own against Daala's Troopers with the BX Spotter giving him a 50/50 chance of killing any trooper that shoots at him (and Yslimiri won't help with that) Plus he can just put in the BX sniper and have that snipe out Pell to rid them of Force Immunity.
The Snow Troopers would have a hell of a time taking that type of squad on, you could try basing the Spotter but with good positioning you cant without triggering Dookus Jedi Reflexes, which is basically an auto kill.

If I was good enough and had the opportunity right now I'd go with Dooku to Gencon.

I predict Juice man will make the top 8, his squad is VERY annoying
