I really hope these turn out to be a joke. Are we being serious with these 2? These are the only 2 pieces that I have seen released that I have actually become angry after seeing. Both of them are easily overcosted by 20 points IMO.

I like the 2 new pieces a lot! The Vader has a lot of potential and I think Old Ben Kenobi is sneakily good. After all he can walk through locked doors and then activate you....ohhhh the possibilities. ThumpUp

Not to mention, but I really like Ben Kenobi's CE giving force users +4 attack. THANK YOU DESIGNERS!!!!!!!!! For a long time the rebel force users have suffered greatly from not having a good attack to be competitive. This will push them to being playable. I'm excited to see what squads I can make with both of these guys. Nicely done on both!

I like them, they seem super fun, perhaps not the MOST competitive of the BHC pieces we've seen (I think all have had some success at regionals if I'm not mistaken)

The Vader is different, I think you can do some really fun stuff with his Trooper pulling CE. Especially as a little wall for shooters, shove 2 Stormtroopers in front of him after he leaps and kills someone. Force Blast is an ability I'm a fan of that I had hoped we would see more of. And 150HP with Dark Armor 2, no crits, and LS Defense with MotF 2 he can probably tank it out. He might be a little overshadowed by the crazy good Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith, but he still offers enough different that I would try and build around both at different points.

Old Ben I like a lot. The above squad mentioned was the first one I thought of as well and built it here He is just kinda simple but I think that hides some versatility. Both bits of his CE are nice, Soresu is always great (balanced by Ascetic here) But that Attack boost is great. Force Spirit 12 is CRAZY, I just can't think of too many Rebel Force Users who will get a bunch out of it. There are a few Lukes but they are usually just as good with one of the Lesser Ben's Force Spirits. Still Triple plus a big Protective and Soresu could provide a solid front line for the Rebels.

What? That's not even the best Vader in the Imps. Lord Vader is still the measuring stick, and still the most competitive Vader. I like that this Vader has Lightsaber D, and Dark Armor 2, but good luck building around a 100pt piece. For the price Lord Vader is still where it's at as far as Vader goes.

I prefer Vader, DLotS mainly because I've played him more I was not playing the game when Lord Vader came out, but Regardless of which one is "better," that wasn't really the point, the point is he may be competing for a slot with a cheaper Vader (whether it be Lord or DLotS) who can do a lot of similar things (there are a lot of similarities and correlative abilities between all 3.)

I don't know if the Palpatine or the Yoda have ever made a Top 4? I know Dooku made the final of a Regional this year, and Luke featured a bit last year without winning anything - I think two made the Top 4 at Atlanta. I still think Dooku is easily the strongest of the 6 we have, but Vader is one of the better ones. Dark Armor 2 is nice, feels like something that can make life a bit more difficult for shooters and encourage more Jedi in the game.

I thought someone did well with Yoda at one of the smaller (perhaps more casual, non-regional) tournaments but I might be wrong. I remember people talking so much about the Palpatine being scary that I just kinda assumed it had placed somewhere to illicit fear. But yeah I was positive that Luke top 4'd somewhere and I know Dooku did as well. I think that Dark Armor 2 on Vader with 150 HP is what sets him apart. That is just good
