Question regarding Mon Mothma's commander effect.

"Followers within 6 squares can make 1 immediate attack at +10 Damage when they are defeated."

Does this mean that the defeated followers get to make this attack at their normal attack damage PLUS the 10 damage?

For example, does a Super Battle droid that is defeated that makes an attack based on this commander effect and is successful, does it deal 20 + 10 for a total of 30 damage, or just 10 damage?

Yup, you get +10 damage on top of your normal damage, and it stacks with other named CEs - quite often you'll see Admiral Yularen's Opportunist in conjunction with Mon Mothma's death shot CE.

One thing to note is that with characters with twin, you only get the +10 damage on your first attack.

With a Super Battle Droid getting twin, you're breaking faction rules, and the conditions of Droid (not subject to Commander Effects).

Oops, right, using the Super Battle Droid as an example was a bad example. That was the first thing that came to mind.

Thanks for the info... seems like a very strange commander effect for a woman in a bathrobe.

It's a very strong CE. Naboo Trooper and Naboo Pilot squads with the Yularen/Mothma combo have won Regionals and made the GenCon top 8 quite often in recent years.

Mon Mothma's so fragile that it is possible for some squads to get to her and knock it out, while she also gets shut down by Disruptive.

I believe it.

I just started playing again last night for the first time in about 4 years and my opponent used Mon Mothma. I kept reading over the commander effect because I just didn't get how a woman in white robe could grant such an ability. Logic doesn't compute.

It's very annoying and I actually took more damage from guys dying than I did when they were alive and shooting at me (due to bad rollls by my opoonent when they were alive and good rolls once they died). I still won the game but it was really annoying that every time I killed some guy I was sometimes taking more damage than I was dealing.

Thanks for info on Disruptive, but won't it be kind of hard to get a disruptive character within 6 spaces of her?

Disruptive works either on the piece granting the CE or the piece receiving the CE. So if you take down an opponent's piece while you have a Disruptive piece within 6 squares of it, they don't get the deathshot.

Does the ability stack with itself if more than one Bothan is killed in a round?

Assuming you're talking about Bothan Sacrifice and neither of the Mothma's CEs, no. An ability will not stack with itself unless otherwise noted. After killing one Bothan, your opponent is free to kill more without granting you any additional bonuses. So, don't put all your Bothans in one basket.
