If Saba gets Lightsaber Assault from Anakin Solo, Galactic Hero does she benefit from Rend +10 if both attacks hit?

I believe Rend only works on the character's own attacks; this came up recently in a tournament where a character with Rend got Twin from Whorm, and it was ruled that the Rend only takes effect if the 2 original attacks (Double) hit, regardless of the two gained (Twin), and didn't work if the character moved and attacked with Twin and not Double. So basically, in the situation I mentioned, the 1st and 3rd attacks would need to hit in order for Rend to take effect, and to answer your question, no it wouldn't work, if I'm correct

I believe you are correct. I know it doesn't trigger on Twin. Just wanted to get the answer on the record.

I'm ... not sure. With Lightsaber Assault the attacks are hers, she is just using a Force Power that she doesn't normally have. Could see it either way.

FAQ wrote: Q: If a Yuzzum or Wampa gets an immediate attack or Extra Attack from a commander effect can this attack trigger Rend?
A: No. A character with Rend must hit with both its attacks from Double Claw Attack or Double Attack on its turn for Rend to trigger. Extra Attacks, and immediate attacks that fall before, between, or after those attacks do not factor into the determination of Rend.
I would also note that even though it involves attacks, Assault replaces your attacks.

I thought I asked this same question before and was told that yes it does work. Hmm, will have to look and see if I can find that reference.
