Mice, Ugs, and R7s should be "essential" like Lobot. Possibly even moreso. You can get away without Lobot. You can't get away with no door control, and Ugs/R7s are the staples.

Nice list; just to throw that Kowakian monkey-lizard with the hydrospanner into the works, I notice the last line of the pdf saying "This also doesn’t cover what are the best squads ... that’s another pdf." Also a good idea for newer players (who also won't understand "Yobuck" or any of the other abbreviations we use, but again another pdf?

Ha! Yeah, another pdf sounds a bit daunting, doesn't it?! Maybe I'll mod that... I just meant that I couldn't do anything about that now.
I'll look at the Mouse/Ug etc. thing today and see what i can do.

One thing that occurred to me is that the Daala and Snowtrooper Officer cards on the PDF are pre-errata - not sure what you do about that though!
