Has anyone picked up anything cool yet either in stores or online?
Can't wait to see SWM mini card stats for Kylo Ren and Cap Phasma! I saw a custom Kylo Ren mini on Ebay, which looked super cool, but the guy was only selling the custom little mini lightsaber, not the custom mini itself ( lol ).

I got the new Risk board game and while not new, the Skyhopper Lego set.
While I haven't had a chance to play it, the game looks rather interesting. Instead of the standard conquest, it's only the battle of Endor, but you've got three simultaneous battles: The space battle, the shield generator assault, and the Luke/Vader duel. The Rebels need to deactivate the generator than blow up the death star, while the Imperials need to destroy the rebel fleet. The duel doesn't need to be concluded, but if a player wins, they get 4-5 extra turns, more than incentive enough to fight.
One thing I will say though about this event, they really sucked with allocations. It's obvious that the action figures were going to be the big sellers, but nobody got much of anything (Where I work, we got none of the basic Hero Mashers, 4 regular figures, and a single Black series figure), leading to much disappointment and ebay resellers.

Yes, I concur. The availability for new product , for such a huge release event sucked! Everything cool in store and online is gone. Collector's are hoarding and charging a grip on Ebay :(

I just picked up "The Force Awakens" Monopoly and a cool metal, "Force Awakens" puzzle tin, with New Order Stormtroopers on the top, with Kylo Ren on the side. The Monopoly set comes with awesome custom, painted plastic Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Finn, and Kylo Ren minis! The minis are totally playable for SWM. I'm totally stoked! I also took the puzzle pieces out of the tin, and I am now storing minis in the nice, durable, tin container.
As stated above, I can't wait for card and stats for Kylo Ren in SWM, so I can use this mini. Are the SWM game designers brainstorming at all in designing characters and stats for the new characters from the upcoming SW movie? I hope that future, upcoming sets will focus on the new movies :)

Echoing the excitement for TFA minis. But I checked out a ton today and actually bought a Stormtrooper Nerf gun for the annual Nerf gun wars my wife's school puts on with the students. And EmperorDragon how is the risk game? Let me know when you try it! And did you get the standard or deluxe? They only had the standard version but I heard about a "black edition" where instead of Death Star, falcon, and star destroyer tokens you actually get small miniatures. Also how close are the ships in scale to starship battles, because always looking for more places to use my starship minis fleet (so far I use them in battlestar galactica boardgame, Star Trek catan, Star Wars the clone wars risk and in Star Wars miniatures campaign edition.

I got the standard edition. As for scale, the pieces are tiny. The starfighters are about the size of a Lego minifigure's head.
And as for trying it out, it might be a little while as the game is either 2 or 4 players, and the last few game nights I've hosted have had odd-numbered batches of people.

And no 3 player option? I wonder why that is? It looks super cool though, my gaming group managed to find an old clone wars risk that we have been battling through lately.

It's because there's only 2 forces in the game. Otherwise, it'd be 1 vs. 2. If you're looking for a version of Risk that's designed with 3 players in mind, Mass Effect Risk is the best option: three different sides with three different goals.
