So I have a MacBook Pro with the latest El Capitan OS X. I have the Vassal engine installed and ready to go but it will not allow me to import any modules. I've tried the SWM one from Vassal's list (.vmod) and the one pinned on this forum (.rar) and neither of them will work. I've tried other modules like the X-Wing one and that will not work either. I'm fairly tech savvy and had no problems with my old Windows computer and laptop but Apple doesn't seem like Vassal very well.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

These files worked for me: http://swmgamers.com/SWM/Vassal%20Main.htmlBut I'm on Windows. Sorry, I can't help with Apple.

Awesome. Can you share some tips for the next Apple user who has trouble?

I was trying to use the "import module" option under "file," which makes perfect sense. But if you use the "open module option, it recognizes the file. I'm still having trouble with the moving pieces around the board but that might be fixed using a mouse rather than the trackpad.
Otherwise its pretty simple: download the vassal engine, download the module, and then use "open module" to get the module file into the engine. You might have to download Java so the engine can run but it will tell you if you need that and it's not a big problem and it installs itself with no trouble.
