Any attack made by the Rebels against Bloo Milk would be a useless gesture.

Come on, I had to.

I am honestly intrigued. Based on what was posted on WOTC, I'm not sure if the mechanics will be picked up, but it does confirm my belief in LFL viewing it as a key tie in product with what is coming.

Makes sense. I get the feeling Wizos basically left LFL hanging.

"Lucas Licensing continues to see miniatures, roleplaying games and card games as viable and important elements in its Star Wars licensing program, both in digital form (like the recently launched trading card game within Star Wars Galaxies), and in physical products like figures, books and cards. Keep checking StarWars.com for announcements regarding future products in this area in the coming months."

Well, it's far from bad news at least.

There is no doubt in my mind that Someone will pick up the contract.
What does concern me is, will the pieces that we already have even be usable if someone does pick up the rights?
I really don't want this game dead, but i don't want to start all over again either.

They've kept it going for over thirty years. It's not gonna die any time soon.

It's encouraging, but only if any future products are compatible with the Wotc game. To be honest, I think most importantly the miniatures should be the same scale and look the same base wise. WE could always restat them to play with the Wotc game mechanics. However if they look to different or are too large it wouldn't work. They could be talking about a RPG product more than a Miniature game, but who knows.

I'll be happy as long they would still work with the rpg. Custom stat cards can always be made if the supposed new minis wouldn't be compatible with the current game, but it would be a much bigger problem if the scale and bases of the minis change drastically.
