I'm working on a simple line of sight application that works on the web. It's in very simple HTML so it should work on anything, cell phone, iPhone, PSP, computer, netbook, whatever. I'm having trouble getting it to work on the Kindle, but one thing at a time. It only has maybe a third of the maps right now, but I'll take feedback on which maps to do next. You can rotate the map to compensate on how the map is rotated for you. You just enter the X and Y coordinates of a square and the program will show you an image of the map with all the the squares you can see in white and the ones you can't in black. Please let me know if you find it useful. The URL is http://home.comcast.net/~bkchi/los/.

Thanks!

Thanks for the positive feedback! Since line of sight works both ways, you can see who you can shoot from a given square, but also who can shoot you. It's also good for dialing in an enemy character's position and seeing where you have to be to shoot him. It's handy for picking off a diplomat, finding a spot where you can see the diplomat but nobody else. Let me know what maps are most popular and those are the ones I'll do next.

Very well done. I agree that it would be extremely nice if you could click the square you're concerned about rather than having to count the numbers and such. Not a terrible problem though.

Being click-able would make this PURE WIN. As opposed to the 75% win it is now :)
