I seem to recall an idea posted a long time ago (don't remember who to give credit) something along the lines of after each initiative, the map space shrank by 1-2 squares all the way around. Anyone in those squares was automatically defeated (might have had a save 16). Encourages a rush to the center of the map even for commanders for sure.

I love the hero squad ideas. I do that restriction sometimes for myself just for fun when building a squad. We did one time play all for oneself battle on the same map using the squads below. Everyone rolled a die and got the squad that matched the number. Whoever killed the most points won.

We've played scenarios on the arena map (either one) with two activations entering the map adjacent to the door each time (up to four players each at the gated entries) so the whole squad does not start in play. High roll for initiative MUST go first round 1.

Darth Vader, Champion of the Sith
Stormtooper x10
11 activations

Asajj Ventress
Battle Droid Officer
Super Battle Droid x6
8 activations

Count Dooku
Battle Droid Officer
Battle Droid x9
11 activations

Han of Hoth
Chewbacca of Hoth
Hoth Trooper x6
8 activations

Luke, Hoth Pilot Unleashed
Wedge, Red 2
Rebel Pilot x6
8 activations

Jabba, Crime Lord
Bib Fortuna
Gammorrean Thug x2
Nikto Soldier x3
Weequay Thug x3
Amanin Scout
11 activations

Princess Leia, Senator
General Dodonna
R2-D2 / C-3PO
Elite Rebel Trooper x4
Rebel Trooper x6
13 activations

General Kenobi
Clone Commander Cody
Utapaun Trooper x5
7 activations

Anakin, Jedi
Ahsoka
Clone Trooper x6
8 activations

Lando
Lobot, Computer Liaison
Cloud Car Pilot x2
Bespin Guard x10
14 activations

I may have mentioned it in the past but it's not mine
it's a fairly well known 'Clix scenario often refered
to as: The shrinkihng turtle
in refrence to how players in Clix games often turtle as strategyThumbDown

re: 'Clix there are some really great "Battle field conditions" and "Feats" that make games really awsome

I'll pull up some I modde dfor SWM and re post them

Hey Squid89, since you said you wanted feedback on the scenario battles you have for SWMBattles, I've been trying out the battle for Teth scenario (since that's the one I have the most pieces that match what's needed), and I've found a little problem with it.
On the side where the Separatists set up, the two Vulture Droids take up so much space, that there's no room for the Dwarf Spider Droids. Just throwing that out there.

As for play feedback, I substituted Obi-Wan, Jedi Master for GOWK entirely just because I wanted to and I thought that Jedi Master was going to be too easily defeated by the combined power of Ventress and the Vulture Droids. Unfortunately, that made it almost entirely one-sided since GOWK just sat in front and either blocked every shot at him, or most shots missed. So maybe there's some middle ground for the right Obi-Wan? (maybe Obi-Wan, Jedi General stats, but GOWK piece?)

Thanks for the feedback. Good stuff to know. That is one of the few that we haven't had a chance to playtest yet, so I will take your suggestions into consideration when we run some play-throughs. Hadn't thought about the setup area being an issue with so many columns. Probably just have to move forward one more square with the Starfighters and start the Dwarfs right behind.

I'll start a new thread for future feedback so as not to highjack this thread too much :)

Okay I'll post more in that thread. I tried a few other scenarios and I had a suggestion or two for other scenarios you could try to make if you wanted.

Madman posted a bunch of good ones.

You should also listen to the SWMiniverse podcast (see the podcast forum here or go to www.swminiverse.com). Those guys Wink have come up with a bunch of ideas also.

I was just gonna mention the podcast, actually, but you beat me to it! Every episode that I've listened to so far has really cool scenarios that they play at their events, and I've even started planning to introduce some of them at my gaming venue. =)
