I like JA a lot. Tons of powerful hard-hitting beats in there that completely changed their respective factions. Just look at the NR, Republic, Sith, and OR; their metas have never been the same since.

The fact that neither of those appear on the list of choices is...*sigh* my thoughts exactly! i know, the weird thing is that the creator of this thread (no offense) put many of the "dud" sets...well, i dont mean dud literally but what most people would call now obscure sets...such as RS (sry guys had to say it :( ) , universe (the TRUE dud, lol only 4 good figs IMO, the vong R/VR, thrawn (Though new one tops him), and rancor (again, new felcore tops him)), alliance and empire (not worth too much, again only a select # of figs worhtwhile) whereas, on the other hand IE, KOTOR, BH, and FU shouldve totally been added in place of the mentioned above :) on topic, i say either COTF (my first booster :D:D:D:D), or FU (pulled a VAU and boba merc in my first 2 FU packs; and 3 VRs in my first 3 FU boosters [third was han in carbonite :(])...

COTF was the first set to come out when I started playing when I was 12. I was like"wow waht an awesome set! I hope they're all like this!" Sadly most haven't been. Exceptions in my opinion: Legacy and KOTOR and maybe JA. Im hoping Masters of the Force will measure up! Maybe there will be more Rares and VRs than usual. They did say they were going out with a bang....

Okay so I have to say COTF, it has a huge swath of figs htat are still in use today one of them is a staple in almost every squad, and there is another who is in almost as many. Then you have a lot of really nice gimmicks that turned out well, it also gave us Sith and OR and look at Bane and Kun, two of the best figs even now in the game if played right anyway, or in the proper format, bane is still a beast at 100 and dynamic duo, he does suffer against some of the dejm so characters but he has enough HP to compensate in many occasions.
Of the sets not on your list. KOTOR is by far one of the best, and Jedi Academy had the least number of un-usable figs I've ever seen in a set. So those two sets would come in at 2nd and 3rd on my list

Def. Imperial Entanglements for me. I mean where would we be without mouse droids, Twi'lek vigos, RIEEKAN?!?!?!, and even Dash? No super beats but all in all a great set for almost any faction because of the great fringe choices IMO.

Ok, so first off, thanx for all the replies. Second, I know I didnt put everyone's fav set on the poll, but of course, I couldnt include them all. I tried to pick a cross section of the sets. RS was the first, Universe was the first huge set, A&E despite the square bases contains many pieces that have helped shape the meta, TCW was full of power pieces...etc. That's why the 'other' option was there folks Maybe I should try a better way of polling this...

However Rieekan can be beat, it just takes a bit mroe work.

Champions was easily my favorite. I was lucky enough to start playing the game before they discontinued it and got some great pulls. Close seconds would have to be Legacy of the force (Lost out to Champions because of morlish veed, lol) And Jedi Academy.

Agree with the Rieeken comment. I liked Imperial Entanglements. Love Palps on Throne, Vader, Legacy, the new thrawn, and Dash (who desperately needed a reboot) but I really could have done without Rieeken. IMHO he changed the (meta) game for the worse. Let's just give the rebels yet another grossly overpowered piece for a ridiculously low cost.......bleh.
On the other hand, I love the Champions set as well as Legacy. Legacy had some great figures. I can't remember ever having been so excited about a set (probably because Champions came out before I got heavily into the game). Cade BH, Shado, Boba Merc Comm. Canderous, Shado, Caedus, Talon, Krayt, not to mention the Vong got some loving that set......just so much goodness. It was like Champions of the Force.....the sequel.

KotOR, what a great set, but I will say CotF is a close second.
