Way to go Yuzzem!

Ok...since you started it...now let's see what's the most damage one character can do in ONE TURN.

Rules:
-criticals are allowed

You might want to post a limit on the number of crits. After all, someone can post that someone with flurry and deadly attack could hit numerous crits on person (Luke, HoY) with a certain lady (Princess Leia) with her CE as well as the initial attack.

True. Hmm...I think I'll have to go back an say no crits just for sake of arguement.

First attack 70 Damage (No Garindan's Spotter or Yuzzem's Rend)
Second attack 120
Breakdown of the second hit:
Yuzzem's Rend ( Base damage 20 + Rend 20)
+ Lord Vader's CE (10)
= 50
+ Jabba, CL CE (10)
= 60
+ Stormtrooper Commander CE (10)
= 70
+Weequay Leader's CE (10)
= 80
+ Rodian Hunt Master (10)
= 90
+ Garindan's Spotter (30)
= 120

Wow! Yuzzem?!? I had no idea I had so much potential damage sitting on the bottom of my Fringe container. Smile Way to go, markedman! ThumbsUp

Also, upon further thought, are we taking into consideration the use of Turn Extending circumstances like CEs from San (extends the end of round if played right), Dodanna (1-2 per turn) or Grand Moff Tarkin (1-3 depending on LoS)?

I am going under the understanding the following criteria are met:
1) 2 characters per phase as traditional
2) No crits
3) Pieces may be set up as necessary (see Spotter or Rangefinder SAs)

Are these correct understandings?

Does this mean I can be deemed Chieftan of the Yuzzems? Laugh

Trust me. I have tons of those Steroid-overdosing Muppets and I would LOVE to find a way to get them to work. Sadly, the cost is just to high for such low staying power.

I played a 100 pt team with 3 Ugs, Gen-Obi, a Shieldbearer and a Yuzzem. I have YET to have people actually leave the Yuzzem alone and go after Obi even when paired with the Shieldbearer.

Barring someone like a Yuzzem Unique that would lower their costs via Rapport, you will not see them very often outside of fun games. Garm is fun with them but not enough of a boost with attack in either the NR or Rebels outside of a Rebel Leader. Now, Gen. Wedge helps the survivability up to a point in the NR. I am sure someone used the "Build-a-Bear" challenge to make them better but you really can't give too much hope to them.

Here is my idea: Get a Rebel Heavy Trooper, Rebel Leader, and 33 Mon Cal Techs and pack them around your target in a 6-square box. Have everyone combine fire with the Heavy Trooper. You will get +208 attack and 660 damage!!! ThumbsUp

If you are feeling really mean, pull out a Mon Cal and put in a Rebel Officer to do it TWICE!!! (but that would violate the rules)

AT-RT using snowbunny padme's CE and combining fire with an ACTC and deliah blue

Not sure what that'd add up to but----shab, just realized the Aerial Clone Trooper Captain can't combine with it

Sorry about that

Oh, well

Atleast I'm bumping the topic O_O

Consider this custom scenario:

Some alien technology has crashed into your planet and it is slowly sucking up the energy from the planet. It doesn't appear to do anything, but it is also apparently indestructible. Can you destroy it? 500 point skirmish against an immobile piece of technology planted in Gambit.

UNKNOWN ALIEN ARTIFACT
Size: medium
Cost: 500
Hit points: 3740
Attack: 0
Defense: 0

Droid
Emplacement
Energy Magnet: All attacks against this character hit, even if a 1 is rolled.
Priority Target: Scores double the normal number of gambit points each round
Immediate Regeneration 3740: At the end of every turn (even other characters' turns), this character regenerates 3740 hit points
Immune to Disintegration

=================

The scenario came after designing the squad below. It was a collaborative effort last summer here in the forums.

The challenge was maximum one-turn damage to one enemy with a 500 point squad limit (since that's Bloo Milk's max). It's up to 3760 points damage in one turn versus one single other figure, assuming there were such a piece that could absorb that much damage. (Hence the need for the custom scenario above.) Here is the squad:

--Better than Maximum Damage Output--
35 Han Solo, Rebel Hero
22 Rodian Hunt Master
18 Rebel Leader
75 Rebel Troop Cart x5
13 Czerka Scientist
13 Jawa Scavenger
13 Weequay Leader
12 Gha Nachkt
220 Gonk Power Droid x20
76 Mon Calamari Tech Specialist x19

(497pts. 51 activations)

Assuming all attacks hit, no critical hits.

Jawa Scavenger:
10 base damage
10 Advantageous
20 Cunning
10 Deadeye
10 Mighty Swing
20 Ion Gun (adjacent droid enemy) =
---
80 dmg per shot

The Jawa is in a Troop Cart with a Gonk, surrounded by 11 Gonks, and diagonally adjacent to 4 carts with 2 Gonks each = 20 Extra Attacks, plus Twin. Adjacent droid victim. 42 total attacks * 80dmg + 400 more from spotters = 3760. The 500 point limit we used limited the number of spotters we could include, so with no limit you could add in a +20 spotter to all 42 shots to make it 42 * 100 = 4200 damage. Plus add Garindan in place of one of the Mon Cals to make it 4210 damage.

Talz Chieftain would add another 10 damage per shot. That makes it 4630 damage. With the newer sets, there might be a better option in another faction, but I think you'd still need to fit lots of Gonks around the shooter and the troop cart is a great way to do that.

Oh - one other thing. I'm not positive if the 4630 would actually work. You have to actually fit all 42 Mon Cals within 6 squares of the target and I think they would but I didn't check to see if they fit.

Jawa Scavenger base of 10
Cunning +20
Ion Gun +20 against Non-living
LV CE +10
Stormtrooper Commander CE +10
Deadeye from Rodian +10
Mighty Swing from Weequay +10
Talz Chieftan CE +10 vs fringe
CF w/Garindan for Spotter +30

130 total in one pop against say an HK-50.

Has anyone used the Krayt Dragon yet? That would be interesting....(just no spotter)

Best I can do....

Young Krayt Dragon = 80 Damage hit (90 if target a force user)

Base: 30
+20 Charging Assault (natural ability)
+ V. Wrangler
+10 Cunning Attack (CE:Jabba Crime Lord)
+10 (CE: Talz Chieftain)
+10 Momentum (CE: Exar Kun)
........
+10 Jedi Hunter (CE: Exar Kun)

Just not sure if the dragon loses the CEs from Exar because the wrangler takes his savage away. Confused

Cunning Praetorite Vong Warrior:

10 base damage
+20dam: Cunning Attack +20
+10dam: Scarification - SA: Praetorite Vong Priest
+10dam: Shaper +10 - SA: Vong Shaper
+10dam: Poison - CE: Yomin Carr
+10dam: Deadeye - CE: Rodian Hunt Master
+10dam: Might Swing - CE: Weequay Leader

Total: 80dam, one attack vs adjacent assuming...
-warrior is wounded to allow for scarification ability
-warrior doesn't move on turn
-target fails save on poison

Possible, but given the need for proximity, not sure an opponent would let you set this up. Could also be done with a YV Jedi Hunter for 70 damage vs. adjacent force user.

Sorry for the muti-posts, guess I'm not going to be sleeping tonight.
