oh, and heres my story...
off top of my head, friend had cade BH with near full HP and hadnt activated him yet.
one of my"bulk" figures (forogt which) attacked him some and brought him down to 20 HP.
all my other figs were out of range of attack except...my ugi demo. he runs up to cade, attacks, and rolls a crit. needless to sayy my friend forfeited the game :)

General Skywalker vs a Senate Commando in a GaW tourney.
Gen Skywalker: 20 base damage crit roll of 20 +10 damage from momentum
My opponent thought he was too far away, but I spent a force point to move 10 and attack. Didn't really need to one shot him, but it was fun to see happen.

Okay, here's one. I sith raged GOWK (full HP) with Asajj Ventress, Separatist Assassin, double twinned him to death and my opponent failed all his saves EVEN with mettle re-rolls. Karma must have hated Obi that day.

Not exactly a "one-shot" but still fun. It the Imperial Entanglements tournament my opponent move his Twi'lek Vigo out to shoot my activated Darth Vader, Legacy of the Force. He also had Xizor in his squad and we ruled that the Twi'lek is affected by Xizor's CE. He hits Vader for 40 damage. I use 2 force to Lightsaber reflect. I made my save. He failed his.

That works for me! It was the Vigo's one-shot, and he killed himself with it. PhageLab wrote:Hydrowhip wrote:General Skywalker vs a Senate Commando in a GaW tourney.

I would've been mad, I like running the Commandos. And I would call that a juicy target. Those Commandos are scary, especially if Argyus is in the squad. You really can't afford to ignore them.

If I recall correctly, once R2-Astro towed GM Yoda out at the beginning of round 2 and Lightsaber Throw against a YV Advance Scout for the kill. (that part should be within the thread rules ). The fun then began since Yoda was actually within 6 of one enemy so I got twin on the LS. The Scout was adjacent to Nom Anor and another Vong. Self-destruct and the twin from Yoda left two dead scouts and Nom down to 20 HP. I know the aftermath is beyond the rules, but it was a fun way to start against a Super Stealth squad.

Genos rule Heck, they're almost broken for 21 points.
So what stories do you folks have to tell? I dont mean to burst your bubble but thats only 60 points worth of damage. The critical will double your base to damage to 20 then poison blade puts up 30 with a failed save and then cunning only adds 10 so i dont know where you got this ten extra damage from.

Poison Blade changes your base damage to 20, meaning you double it to 40 with a crit.

Yep, that works for me! The main thing is, no outside boosts to attack/damage, number of attacks etc. Yoda was using only his built-in abilities. How it was set up doesn't really matter. While killing the target was no great feat, the aftermath makes it fit the juicy target in game context part pretty well, as I'm sure it was a game changing event. Ripe for the picking, that poor Scout was.

Not a one-shot, but one activation.
Opponent attacks my already activated Vader with Mara Jade, Jedi.
I use Thrawn to swap an Echani Handmaiden with Vader.
Thanks to Opportunist from Thrawn and Extra Attack from Vader, the Echani uses Triple+Twin to attack Mara for a total of 120 damage.
Had some similar fun with Durge, Loader Droid and Whorm in a 100 point battle. Two out of three battles were against Jedi-heavy squads, so Durge was able to drop 180 points of damage in an activation. One game went 100-0. Lost to the Mando scout squad though. Missed an important shot against the commander that was giving them Twin.

Killed Sion twice in 2 activations (Ok, he was major hurt to start) with 2 YH JH (twin) + Shaper + YC poison. He didn't know what hit him.

Technically not one hit kill, but I ran Kyp Durron up to Wolf Sazen this morning, did lightsaber assault, scoring 4 hits and 2 critical hits. It was beautiful to see him get wasted so fast. Especially as Kyp was one of my first ever minis.
