Agreed. One of them looks like some sort of sluggy bear stuffed animal made for Hutts. (music jingle ~My sluggy, my sluggy, wherever I go, he goes.~)

I think they just probably wanted to have an awesome set theme. And I am sure happy they did all 8 at once instead of 4, or whatever. If they had only come out with four pieces, I would have called it a bad decision, but we get all 8 characters to use on our Dejarik boards!
I love the creatures, and I am sure glad as heck that they didn't just come out with more "Generic Clone Trooper X" and "IG droid Y" for this set.
I can agree with almost every single mini they created being good for the game and/or collectors and/or roleplaying game in this entire set.
Most people have a problem with the force spirits (but collectors now have all 3)
Old republic (Alien Jedi instead of just 3 more human jedi)
Sith (Needed representation, and he could be great!)
BDO (come on, new players really needed this. I traded an AT-ST for all the duplicate UC/C that a friend had from CS and RotS, and got about 9 of these suckers. I gave away all but 2 of them to new players, traded another. I have 1 left. Making it a common will guarantee that everyone has one of these for their droid army)
Well, Kit fisto looks awesome....
All of the other republic jedi were asked for a million times.
Rodian Diplomat - I lied, this is one I could have lived without.
Force spirits - again, finished the collectors force spirit trio
General Han Solo - the mandatory movie character for the set
Lando - Soo many people wanted him
Rebel Soldier/Red Hand - those "generic troop x" that we would have had 10 of if it were not for the Dejarik Monsters
Arden Lyn - Love new unique characters for the game
anakivader - again, asked for by so many (I didn't necessarily need another one)
Ganner - See sith/arden/OR (I am just a fan of new jedi as a whole)
Blood carver/Toydarian/Taung/Grievous/Jedi Instructor - NEW RACE! (RPG)
Chiss/Ewok/Gammorean/Kaminoan/Sullustan/Far-out - cool. Not often used race (RPG)
Grievous - soo good in all three catergories
Djarek Monsters - Collector - everyone who purchases a case (which is regular in my mind) will have 2 complete sets for HOLOCHESS!!!
Or, i guess you can use them for the minis game, too :wink:
