It's a vertual set that can be downloaded and printed out(I'm not sure if its 40 or 60 characters) Its just the cards, they dont cost anything(except for the cost of printing them out) You can find more info at SWMgamers.com

I think the release date will be well after Gencon.

Here's a post I had from another thread:
From what I have understood, what's gonna happen is like this.
A set of 60 alternate cards will be made, and one, for example, a "Luke Skywalker Farmboy" card will be made, one that might look like this (Just a hasty example)
Cost 19 HP 50 Def 16 Att +7 Damage 20
Unique Deadeye Pilot Accurate Shot Careful Shot Final Shot
Force 3
The card can be used instead of the Luke Skywalker, Rebel card for the Luke Rebel piece from Rebel Storm. Or, the player can still use the original Card if they want. As far as I know, you will likely need the figure that matches the alt card, but I have also heard talk of different luke minis being usable for a luke card, like luke HOY being OK for use with the alternate Luke rebel card since he is nonmelee, etc.
The card will be available for download and then you can print for free, or, you can buy them on cardstock from gamers for a small fee.
That might not be entirely true, but that's what I've gathered.

You hit all the high points. Look for something after the last set is out. I'm one of three working on stats. There are playtesters, typesetters (maybe a proof reader or two), etc. There is an entire section at Swmgamers.com Now, I just need to get more playtesting results for SSB 2.0 and get that finished.

Ummm,
Engineer,
If you need playtesters, I have a group that has done it before for Heroclix. I'm more than sure we'd be all about doing it up for you. And NO we will not leak any info. We all signed NDA's before and if we have to, we could again.
Let me know.

Let me know. Same here, only its just 2 people, me and a friend that play. And leaking info is definatly out of the question.

As much as I love spoilers, this is one reason I would not enjoy being part of playtesting, or another job related to my expertise.
It is one thing to get stats early, it is another thing to see a whole set in development.

Cool. Think theres any chance of this game living on in a virtual sense after MotF drops in April?

Well, SWCCG just released their 20th V set 8 years after the game was stopped printing. From what I've seen, they have a good foundation to follow that game's success. They can still draw 60+ people tournaments.
