So this seems to be the very end of the game that we all enjoy to play so very much. What I want to ask everyone is if you think that stores and suppliers will drop the prices on boosters and cases sometime in the next few months to move their inventory?

If so, what kind of pricing do you expect to see?

I would hope it would be like unto the Alliance and Empire pricing we saw. Those packs were $9.99 or you got one free with the purchase of a regular booster. Hey maybe buy two get one free deals?

I know of a few LGSs that will increase their prices after May, and thats due to supply and demand. You have to remember, they will stop being produced fairly soon, and with no product hitting the shelves in the coming months, it will be hard to even get a booster. But for right now, prices should remain the same.
Take into consideration too, that the economy of the game will rest in our hands. So if we continue to buy boosters, our stores will continue to get them until they can't get them anymore, and that will also hike up the cost of minis.
I am getting all that I can, from RS to MoTF......good luck with CS, lol.

My LGS has just got 36 boosters in and dropped the price to NZ$19 each, so I'm planning on getting more IE and LotF...

I would invest in a few boosters of AE too. and hope you get a (or another) Storm Commando and Jabba CL. Very underrated pieces IMO.

Our LGS has no idea when they will get there Dark Times boosters arriving. I'm not even sure they are aware of SWM or what century it is...

I'm going to holf off on buyibg my two cases. Recentlt when wizards decided to stop the visible packaging on thier D&D miniature line and go back to blind distribution cases could be bought for about 50-60 bucks a piece online and our retailer sold them for buy one get one half off. Since it seems Wizards is pushing the new set out early I'm guesing they will be cheap soon as they will not be able to sell and product once their licence is up they will need to unload this set to distributors more quickly. We will see i guess but I dont mind waiting. If they do go for less I'll get 4 cases rather than two.

Thats very good reasoning to wait. Lets hope that is the case, because I like "Cheap" and not "Expensive".

Target runs through Private Vendors, so whatever they sell cheap will be the last you ever see of Minis at Target. I only know this because my friend delivers all the Card and Mini games to all the local Targets.

you better get what you can because Wizards is dumping their entire inventory to distributors at the end of may. They will have nothing left after that other than MOTF.

That's interesting. I wonder if we'll see the return of older sets that have been sitting in WOTC warehouses this whole time?

I would not be surprised. I have a pretty good idea of what is what. But I have it on good authority they are going to be selling them at buy 2 cases get 3 free just to get them out. Just to be clear this isnt because the stuff isnt moving or being sold they are up against some time restraints contract wise.

3 frees cases?! Wow, that should get retailers jumping for sure. That's pretty cool, thanks for the info.
