WOW, at this time tomorrow my cases of Motf, will have arrived at my LGS. I am kinda in shock, knowing that this is more than likely the last time I will be opening cases if not boosters for this wonderful game. While disappointed that so many more characters could have been made, I am really thankful for this game, and all I learned from it. Mostly though I am thankful for the great friendships I have formed at the Lgs and online. The people have made this game what it is, and I am thankful for the great experiences I have had playing SWm for almost these last 6 years. Wotc you have your numerous problems, but you did bring us a wonderful game, for that I thank you as well. With that being said, I'll see you when I see you, and hope for a very successful Gen con tournamnet. Best wishes to its organizers and players.

I kinda find it troubling that you seem to be saying that SWM is dead as of tomorrow. Well, I guess in a way it is, but now the game is in our hands. It's only as dead as we make it.

Nope, the game is not dead, just on Wotc's end. However I will be taking some time away from this game to focus on some others for the next 6 months or so. Once the Gamers guys get cracking with the V sets, I will begin looking at custom miniatures again, and the "smooth on" project I have been considering. On the plus side my minis will see plenty of action on the RPG table. Hopefully see you tomorrow for the final unveiling!!

It's more like having a TV show run it's Series Finale. Yeah, it sucks it's going to end, and we're thankful for the memories, but it's only going to end badly in the longrun if people forget about the series. Hell, even series that didn't have a long run are still getting attention because people don't forget about them.
That being said, instead of going out with a bang, where the character all ride off to bigger and better things, this set is more like the characters were all gunned down by gangbangers because they were in the way of a hit.
