I opened one of my six boosters that I bought and I got a Freedan Nadd card but I got a Lord Hoth piece. Has anyone had that happen to them, can I get this fixed in any way or am i screwed?

From wizards customer service page: Quote:If you have purchased a booster pack or starter game for any of our miniatures products, and you discover a miniature is damaged or defective in any way, for quality assurance purposes please return that miniature, along with its matching stat card and the sales receipt to the following address:
Wizards of the Coast Attn: Product Replacement PO Box 707 Renton, WA 98057-0707
Be sure to include a letter detailing the problem, along with your first and last name, address information, and a phone number (with area code) in case we need to contact you for any reason.
If the wrong stat card was included for the miniature you received, please detail in the letter if you want the miniature to match the card you sent in, or the card to match the miniature you sent in. We will normally be able to provide a replacement for you.

I received my case today and was greeted by 2 Anakin Force Spirits and only 3 VRs (Nadd, Cay and Monn). I have heard of a few similar stories in the past. Has anyone ever contacted Wizards of the Coast about this? Is it something they help out with?
Thanks in advance!

For Galaxy at War, I opened a booster to find a General Whorm mini but with a Captain Argyus card. Actually, none of the cards matched the miniatures. Luckily, later in the same case, I opened another booster and behold the cards didn't match the minis: just happen to be an Argyus mini with a Whorm card! (they apparently switched the card packs, as all the minis and cards matched once I switched them to the right booster)

Thanks in advance! I doubt is as there is no guarantee you will get four VRs in a case (that's just the typical distribution). You can try to contact customer service - it can't hurt the worst they will say is no and you are no worse off.

Here's hoping it works out, but I'm not holding my breath.

WotC is pretty good about replacements. I bought a pack of Universe a while back, Thrawn was the VR, but all the cards were missing from the pack. They had no problems replacing all of them.
On a side note, that's pretty much why I quit Pirates of the Spanish Main. Their customer defect policy was just sending you a new pack.

I contacted customers service and got the line of "there is no guarantee of 4 VRs in a case; it's random." Maybe you'll have better luck, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

There are extremely rare cases where the R/VR distribution in a case gets messed up. If anything though, I would contact whoever you bought the case from, and not WOTC. Are you certain it was a factory sealed case? Was the rest of the miniature distribution in the set accurate (i.e. 4 of each C and 2 of each UC)? If not, it's possible that a booster was swapped out. The likelihood of a distributor snatching one booster out of the case, and that booster being a VR is pretty small though. If the distributor fiddled with the cases, you'd probably know, because your C/UC ratios would be all out of whack too. If everything lined up except for just the one R instead of a VR, then it's probably just a factory error, and I doubt there's anything anyone will do about it. Sorry. :(
