the stormtrooper repulsor sled is rarely traded, bought, or sold.

Notice the common theme: non-unique rares. A mistake on WotC's part. Not that they care, but not good for the game.

And then there are the rare uncommons like sith marauders, gungan shieldbearers, shadow stormtroopers and of course mouse droids! Arc troopers I really don't get, because they aren't even that good. I never find them second hand.

They are a Clone Strike mini, and they were QUITE popular at the time. Remember, they were pretty much the best troop the Republic had at the time.

But the Storm Commando is the Saving Grace of the Empire! For people who don't buy minis in bulk (like myself), getting duplicate non-unique rares or very rares is far less of a blow to one's collection, and can be beneficial. The Storm Commando is one of those shining examples of a great mini that just never had enough. IMO, putting several of those with Thrawn (and either a Mouse Droid or that pompous ass Mas Amedda) gives an Imperial player almost perfect tempo control. Long live the Thrawnaporting Commandos! There are tons of these non-unique rares and very rares that really iritate me Cursing because I want a squad of them and I can only get one or two. These include the very useful Stormtrooper on Repulsor Sled and the beautiful Sandtrooper on Dewback.

There's no reason why these are VRs. None whatsoever. They sell for about $20 so they are too expensive to collect en masse like I do with other Stormtroopers.
