Ok here is a format that is great for Vassal or if you have all the minis and tiles at home BigGrin
Thanks to minimanger in the past but now the bloomilk(by the way is there anyway we can get a mixed random booster that pulls randomly mixed booster that covers all pieces form all setslike minimanager did on bloomilk)

Here is what you do
roll for tiles(use tile war rules but rigid huges loose rigid and gain super squeeze: allows any character to squeeze through a single square wide space.)

You can play 2-4 players. Last man standing wins.

winner chooses who sets tile first
then you roll for setup
winner chooses who sets up first

the loser first rolls d20 for a booster if result is 18-20 reroll(this will change as new sets aka Vsets are release)
If 1-17 choose the booster that fits(this will change as more sets are released.
1 RS, 2CS, 3 ROTS, 4Universe,5 cotf,6 bh, 7 a&e, 8 reroll, 9 FU,10 lotf, 11 kotor,12 CW,13 IE,14 JA,15 GAW, 16 DT, 17 MOTF

reason for 8 to reroll that is rebels and imperials. Not a true booster

If bloomilk is able to get a mixed booster pulls like minimanager use that instead and skip all the rolling. :D

you do this twice for each player and set up all 14 pieces per side and fight

You can also do this in map form but you have to use random map. A good way is use the random button on vassal. You can do this on table top too if you have the maps. Don't worry if you don't have the maps keep hitting random until you get one that you do have.

Also if you use the map form you may use more boosters if you want, but every piece in all the boosters are used regardless of the points on the figures.

Edit: if more then 2 players you can place anywhere on the map including next to your opponents or opponents. :end edit

I hope you have fun and let me know how it is working for you. BigGrin
