Given MOTF is the last wizos set, its interesting to take a look back on whats been created so far. What has been the best version of all of our favorite SW characters? I'm thinking characters with at least 3 minis made of them here. Here's some of mne:

Darth Vader
There are a few awesome contenders. Vader, SOTJ is probably the best competitive one, but my favourite Vader is Darth Vader, Jedi Hunter, he's the most well-rounded IMO. Plus it's hands down the best posed Vader out there.

Luke Skywalker
The Snowspeeder is awesome, and I love Luke COTF (my first ever rare!). GMLS is, of course, the most powerful Luke. I like Luke Skywalker, Rebel Commando the best. Levitate is a fantastic force power, and his synergy with both Han Cannon and Rebel Commandos is hard to top.

Anakin Skywalker
This isn't hard at all. General Skywalker is without a doubt the best Ani. He brought so many melee options back into the game. He's also a really fun piece to use.

Yoda
Yobuck is the easy answer, but he's not my favourite. I have to go with Yoda frome Clone Strike. He's still a good piece even 12 or so sets later. His CE is VERY useful IMO. Honorable mention to Luke Skywalker and Yoda.

Obi-Wan Kenobi
There are so many stud Obis. GOWK is fantastic, but the whole controversy over him clouds my opinion of him. I have always loved the RS and TFU Obis with Force Spirit 8, that's a great game changer. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi General is my choice. SSM is insane, and flight on a melee fig is really cool. I love surprise move.

Han Solo
Lots of great Hans out there. Scoundrel, Rogue, Han Stormie. Galactic Hero can be fun in the right squad. My pick is Han Solo, Smuggler. There is just so much power with the Smuggler/Leia combo. I love the pose too.

Palpatine (Darth Sidious)
Holosid is a really great mini. I love Palpy on throne, he's such a great force battery, and gambit getter. He can be very frustrating to kill to. The best IMO is Darth Sidious from CS. Pawn of the Darkside is one of my absoulute favourite force powers. It's almost unfair sometimes.

There are some to get people started. There's lots of other characters too. I will post more. What are your picks?

Darth Vader
I would have to say Lord Vader here. B&B changed the game, was considered a prime GOWK counter, and is still viable today. Bit expensive, but a great melee beat, with a decent CE.

Luke Skywalker
Wow. I'm gonna have to be devil's advocate and throw out Luke FS. A much needed addition to the NR. The Rebels have so many options and there are several good lukes there (snowspeeder, COTF) but the Rebels are still an excellent faction without them. Luke FS boosted many of the mid cost characters in the NR.

Anakin Skywalker
General Skywalker.

Yoda
Yobuck changed the game and meta more than any other Yoda out there.

Obi-Wan Kenobi
Obi-Wan FS made the Han Cannon viable and has stuck around for a long time, though will probably be used less now that we have two others to choose from, but brought alot of options to the faction.

Han Solo
han Smuggler. Brought alot of cheaper builds to the Rebels.

Palpatine (Darth Sidious)
I was tempted to go with Holosid, but considering the Sith's place in the game, I honestly don't think he was a game changer. Palp's on throne is a great battery, so I put him in this slot.

Darth Vader.
Id have to say Lord Vader he is fast hits hard and can stick around the fight for a long time with Dark Armour.

Luke Skywalker.
Luke Champion of the force is prob my favorite with Luke Rebel Commando a close second. Use The Force is just awesome.

Anakin Skywalker.
Not tough at all General Skywalker hands down.

Yoda.
Yoda on Kybuck is my favorite Yoda he's fast he hits hard and paired with panaka he will just run over entire squads.

Obi-Wan Kenobi.
RS Obi-Wan is my fav. Solid Attacker and FS8 all for only 38.

Han Solo.
Scoundrel is my favorite but i see the point that smuggler is prob better in competitive games. Scoundrel has this i like better though twin and cunning.

Palpatine.
Im going with Palps Sith Lord. Bringing in Rex to play with thrawn is just incredible and palps isnt that bad himself.

My favourite Kit Fisto is the newest one from MotF. The GAW one was cool, but quite expensive. I also think his pose is totally wizard. Cudos to WotC for this miniature.

My favourite version of Mara Jade atm is Arica. I think she is just a great backup shooter, with access to basically unlimited amounts of forcepoints. I also like Mara Jade Jedi, but don't have her atm.

Did I just see that if I write the word wizard, it is shown as wizard??

Edit: It seems the case. Obviously I didn't type the word wizard. It was the name of a current film, an exclamation of awesomeness that I typed.

Credit where it is due to creativity used for keeping it a family place and not just using *** or ~#*?.

Vader: Scourge of the Jedi. (It used to be champion of the force for a sweet CE that personifies him and goes well with all others, but Scourge is just too darn good at what he does)

Luke: Rebel commando. Just by himself he is worth 27 pts. Then add a movement breaker. Shake well. Amazing piece that is actually almost "commander-esque"

Anakin Skywalker: General Skywalker. (GMA - do you see a trend here?). As someone succinctly stated, there is no competition. This version is just too good (unless you don't have enough points for him). The only thing bad about him is that he really only benefits from Obi-wan, which is totally in character for him :)

Han Solo: I want to say Han Solo Galactic Hero because of disruptive and all the other cool tricks, he just doesn't have much support in that faction. Nevertheless, all around, I believe he is the best Han figure.

Leia: I think princess leia still wins over Leia Skywalker, just because that commander effect will never grow old. Extra saves are good and nice, but that extra attack is what will win you games.

Obi-wan: Gowk. Even without a supremely powerful SSM, Gowk still has the most amazing commander effect ever. He also has auto damage, force renewal, and a speed increase.

Palpatine: I think I have to go with Holosid on this one. Just because he makes so many of my favorite evil characters better. (Lumiya, Darth Nihl, etcetera) A very close second would be Palpatine on the Can.

Boba Fett: Boba Merc Commander is now my all time fav. Hey, everybody have some accurate. Hey, you like cunning attack? I'm your guy. GMA? Yes. (the trend continues)

Chewie: Chewie, Enraged Wookiee. 160 hp for 34 pts and base 30 damage to boot. If I could use this guy in dynamic duo, I would. I think a lot of people underestimate him, and he could take on his clone, Chewie RH, any day

Grievous: GG, Dac. No real contest again.

Yoda: Grand Master. All around good. Not just good at 1 thing. Don't get me wrong, though. Yobuck is better at winning heavy duty tournaments built around him.

Lando: Dashing Scoundrel. Mobile/evade/opportunist/base 20 damage/perfect cost.

C-3po: R2-C3PO. Disruptive/override. You have everything you need in one little package, with draw fire to use if things get hairy.

Dooku: Still a big fan of Dooku of Sorenno. Lightning 2 is better than 4 in my opinion. Also, block for free why don't you?

Mace: After the booster pull games in MotF, I have to jump on the Master Windu bandwagon. Renewal 2....puts him over the top.

Mara: Mara Jade, Jedi. I know Arica is great (even better with Thrawn) but I don't think winning initiative, then completely destroying one person will ever get old.

Maul: The original. (Wow, first one) I think this is the only character where the original is actually a perfect representation of what Maul was, and General Whorm Loathesome really increases his potential.

R2: Astromech. No contest again.

It is Mara Jade when she goes into Jabba's palace to kill luke originally. C3p0 asks her what her name is and she says "Arica"

Just a few quick ones I have opinions about...

Vader- There are 3-4 very good minis to choose from, but for me None are better than Lord Vader, his damage output is just too immense to ignore.

Lando-Dashing Scoundrel, no real debate there...

Mare Jade-Mara Jade, Jedi is the best one. Arica is very good and works well with the imperial commanders, but Jedi is cost effective, deadly, and versatile.

Yoda-This is sorta tricky because i've never used Yobuck so my view is incomplete. Of the yodas I've used Grandmaster is my favorite. I like his cost, his CE and his combat ability.

Boba Fett-Mercenary wins. There are several great minis to choose from, but Intuition on this mini is awesome, add that he's a follower and fringe and I feel that puts him above Mercenary Commander who has the better stats, but is hindered by being limited to the Mando faction.

Here's some more!

Leia
There are a few sweet Leia figures. I've always liked the RS Leia, Senator, she is very underrated IMO. Leia Skywalker (name makes me cringe still) is a great commander for the NR, but Princess Leia from A&E is the best for sure.

Chewbacca
TO me, its a toss up between Rebel Hero and the BH one. I'll go with Chewbacca and C-3PO, plus it's an awesome sculpt.

Boba Fett
Boba Fett, Mercenary is easily the best one I think. Honorable mention to Mando Boba, I love him too. Boba BH is overrated and waaaay over costed.

Mara
I truly love Arica. But Mara Jade, Jedi gets my vote. The skeer power of that mini can sometimes be crazy for a 45pt piece.

More to come!
