I am aware the posting of links to ebay auctions is not allowed, so I will describe it. Basically someone has put a lot up of "29 Very Rare Jedi" and the starting price is £250, which accorting to my trusted internet currency converter is about $380.
The thing is, of these 29 Very Rare jedi, 2 are Younglings, 2 are JWMs, 17 are Rares, there is Anakin from the Map packs, and a Jedi Guardian. that leaves what, seven actual VRs. Now most are from Clone Strike or RotS.
When I discovered this last night it annoyed me, especially when looking at this person's other auctions (46 SBD for £65!!! 4 ISP speeders for £22), but hopefully anyone who knows anything about SWM will see how silly it is. It just strikes me that this guy is trying to trick someone into forking out ridiculous amounts of money for stuff not worth as much.
No offence if I am talking about your auction. (But shame on you).

I have found some great deals on ebay. I only bid on auctions, I rarely use the buy it now option because, you are right, they are mostly over costed. But I won the CW Battle pack minus Hailfire and ISP speeder and box and any dice and maps it comes with for pretty cheap.

Missed out on a $5 Mandalore the Indomitable yesterday because I was busy playing online poker, lol. But I did get that $3 Mas Amedda. =) You just have to be patient with eBay!

No offence if I am talking about your auction. (But shame on you). Actually it was 46 regular battle droids for £65, the 52 SBDs were priced at £110! It wasn't so much the price, but the claims that they were the largest collections in existance. It'll be interesting to see if they are bid on. Buyer beware indeed!

Ya its Totally up to the buyer to do their homework on what they are buying. Hopefully nobody gets suckered into paying that much.

Misleading labels eBay auctions does seem to happen quite a bit. I can almost always find some "rare" lot of SWM that contains nothing but commons and uncommons but while it may say "rare" in the title that could be (but shouldn't be) excused because it is a collectable game and the pieces may be out of print. Where it gets really bad is when you are looking at largers "rare" lots but don't actually get to see what pieces are being sold to know of the rare title is actually accurate.
