Both are great pieces, and has been said, they tend to play different roles.

Shaak in Rebels with Ani FS/Rieekan/TBSV is insane. (scurries off to build a squad Sneaky )

Kinda funny I was mentioned as support for Shaak Ti - I picked Saesee Tinn without much debate. For the cost, he's a better mini in my book. Djem so Mastery is a very nice bonus, and his cheap cost makes him a great swap piece. Shaak Ti is just enough more expensive that she has to be a primary attacker, whereas Seasee is more of a secondary with his cost - even though they will do similar amounts in a squad. Hence why I chose him.

The one point cost difference makes Ti the primary attacker vs Tinn? just confuse here.

My take: their only stat difference is Tinn has 1 higher attack.
Both have block.
Riposte w/master of the force vs Djem So Mastery w/mettle(50% time free, 35% 1fp).
About the same to me, ya you could Djem for 30 + block half the time, but the double riposte 100% time(with 2+fp), block riposte, block block just seems equally as good. not better but just as good.

Ti has both crowd fighting, stealth and Lightsaber duelist which is a nice defense combo.
Tinn has Space Suit and mettle which is good for his Djem So, attacks and other Saves.

Tinn's Surprise move is nice and work well with swap and getting the double.
Ti's cunning is great for swapping to, and stealth help keep her alive, allows more CE's, and/or helps baits opponents in.

In the end the only thing I see Tinn having over Ti is in being a good swapper for a squared. Were Ti is a good swappie and has other uses. Tinn is just to costly for my taste. Not that he is over cost but he is a big support piece with limited offense and you can get all his "components" in cheaper Jedi from surprise move to Djem So. So Ti for the win IMO.

Suprise move is cheapest on Kit, who loses twin compared to GAW version. Far as I am aware, Kazdan and GAW Kit is the other two, the latter being a favourate of mine. Can't remember anyone else in republic. I forgot she had master of the force though, considering that every charcter beyond Master Luke in the last few sets has actually had it. >_<; XD

CS Qui-gon has surprise move.
And again, there are differences that mainly come down to preference. Saesee fills the roll that Ani of Nelvaan used to, and does a much better job than Shaak Ti. When in a Melee fight, Saesee has far more damage output then Shaak Ti. You are not getting Cunning off on Riposte. And Surprise Move is very powerful, do not underestimate. Especially with Flobi or Windu.
Vs the Lancer, give me Saesee over Shaak Ti.

well I think they have different roles. Tiin is a 2nd attacker same with Shaak but if you want more power go with Shaak but if you think melee is going to be around tiin is better. If your playing vs a lancer pawn and it hasnt acted Shaak can kill it and if it has attacked/pawned shaak can kill it. Tiin should be able to do 30 and maybe another 30 if he makes the save. I like Shaak better because he is not all about saves.

I was just about to post about that... Either this is a misunderstanding or a fail of epic proportions.

Anyway, Shaak Ti's a much better fig in my mind. Stealth and Renewal break the tie.
