Darth Jim stood by the table telling the story about the crazy squads he and thereisnotry played the week before. "Seriously - every single faction."
"That's just crazy," said urbanjedi. "Anyway, it's time for us to roll initiative."
UrbanShmi's die landed right next to urbanjedi's die. Darth Jim rolled his die, too. "I win initiative," said UrbanShmi.
Urbanjedi continued, "So Jim, the first game you were Sith and you had every faction in your squad?"
"Well, sort of. I had a card for every faction - kind of," said Darth Jim.
"What do you mean - kind of?"
"Well, a Caamasi Noble isn't exactly a Rebel."
"Oh yeah! Sure, but you couldn't hope to actually get all 10 factions into a squad anyway. That's close enough for me," said urbanjedi.
"That's just the thing, though. The next day TINT most definitely had every faction in his squad, and we were just playing 200 points," said Darth Jim. He sat down at the table and picked up a die. He looked at UrbanShmi and asked, "Is it my turn yet?"
"No," she replied.
Urbanjedi took his Surprise Move and Jim then... proceeded to describe... the entire squad... as well as his Sith squad from the first day.
"What would be even crazier is if you could do the same thing with a Vong squad at 200 - considering nobody even has Affinity to get into a Vong squad."
UrbanShmi smiled. "Actually, I think that one is done. The next challenge would probably be to get every faction into a Vong squad at 150 points."
Darth Jim and urbanjedi looked in disbelief at the squad sitting in front of UrbanShmi. Urbanjedi stuttered, "I guess I wasn't paying attention to the squad you brought... h-how is that even legal?" In front of UrbanShmi sat a Yuuzhan Vong squad that contained characters from every faction.
"Well, it might be unbelievable, but it's most definitely legal. Now give me that die and let's play," said UrbanShmi as she took her first activation.

That's actually pretty easy assuming she was playing V-set pieces and used the recommended minis.

This is a tough one. I'll give hints if necessary. (I'll be really impressed if this one gets cracked without any hints.)

Or would, say, GARY count as Sith OR Imperial, instead of just Imperial (the one he's printed as)?

GARY would only count as Imperial.

Hint: They are using standard 200-pt squadbuilding rules, but they are not playing with standard setup rules.

Hint: The word unbelievable is important. Note the new ellipses in the puzzle description. Not... all... of... the... details... are... included.

Hint: Darth Jim, urbanjedi, and UrbanShmi were the only three people in the room.

This doesn't by chance hinge on the precision accuracy of Bloo's squadbuilder, does it?

that's the problem. I was thinking that we drove to see Jim and not the other way around :)
