Begin transmission...Well the time has come for me to announce my departure from WNY. Clan Nader will be relocating to the great state of Texas right before GenCon, if all goes according to plan. What this largely means is that we've seen our last FrostyCon and WNY regional, unless either Chris or Corey grab the reigns but with the current popularity of FFG titles that would seem unlikely. I will be living in Houston the Woodlands to be exact; so that effectively means an end to my SWM playing days as well outside of the occasional team tourney at GenCon or maybe a regional where I can get a direct flight to from Houston. It is very important that I say thank you to all those who supported FrostyCon and the Regionals these past four years I have enjoyed being your host and as I have said many a time, without you folks who traveled great distances there would have been no such events. The friendships I have made these past four years will last a lifetime, so to each and everyone, all the best & cheers! Nader End transmission...

Gerry, you are a class act all the way. I thoroughly enjoyed my first FrostyCon this year, as well as your impeccable hospitality. Best wishes to you and your family.

Thata a blasted shame; going to FrostyCon was always a "maybe next year" thing for me. I guess I'm out of years.
Wish you and yours the best in the lone star state.

While I never got to enjoy the awesome hospitality of WNY, I did get to spend some time hanging out with you and you're a class act.
Favorite Gerry story, well your son. PA Regional in 2012 when the Prom kids came in and we tried to get your son to ask out the prom queen. He wasn't having it! lol

That makes me sick :(
Could always count on you to play, be competitive and have lots of fun no matter what. Hope to still see you at GenCon. I know Texas is like its own country but Peter from Chicago just moved there...maybe you'll be near enough to still get in a game.
Best of luck my good man.

To echo Jack "Your generosity, and hospitality are second to none". Will you occasionally surf the Milk? Also, looking at the satellite view, the Woodlands has lots of swimming pools; enjoy! (condolences to Steve aka captaingig)

I knew the move was coming, but it still makes me sad.
You have always been a great gift to the SWM community, and WNY loses their cornerstone.
Frosty-Con has always been one of my favorite events of the year, and the Minis is only a small part of that.
You opened your home to all of us mongrels, and treated us like family.
Only two words for you . . .
Toasty-Con!!!!

According to Googlemaps you are only going to be like an inch away from where Peter moved. LOL. It's roughly 3 hrs drive between you and Peter. Its too long to do all the time but could get some games in every now and then.
I am grateful to have met you and your family Gerry, you have always been a blast to hang and game with. Especially during the late hour tourneys at GC. Who would have thought that Rum and Royal Rumble go so well together... ...

Gerry, I just want to say THANK YOU for everything! FrostyCon was always a highlight for me, and totally worth the 6-hour solo drive there and back each time. You were always a generous and gracious host. You are the best star pilot in the (X-Wing) galaxy, and a cunning (SWM) warrior...and a good friend. You will be missed in SWM-land, but never forgotten.

Hopefully you can organize a BBQ-con or something. I know I would try and make it out no matter where you were as your hospitality is second to none, and frosty was always a blast.

Hope to meet you in person eventually. I knew way back when we made a trade (or something) that you were the kinda person I would have a blast hanging out with. I have yet to see a report to the contrary from anyone else. Cheers! (currently Chimay red label, in case you were wondering)

Gang...
I WILL grill it, if all y'all come down.
My new home will always be open to my SWM family, so perhaps SizzleCon might a possibility.
Thank you for the kind and gracious words, it truly means a great deal to me during this time of transition.
