While I am excited to see this miniature in principle, I am disappointed that the Hayden Christensen version was used for the sculpt. Sebastian Shaw's Anakin may be non-canon now, but the original Vader deserves his own mini.

Yeah I saw it too, and referred to it in the masters of the force box pictures thread. But I had no bites, so I didn't end up posting a picture. It is defiantly a cool find, and I hope it will be in MOtf, otherwise I will be kicking myself in the future for not rying to get my hands on it.

It reminds me of the hologram figures that appeared in the Hasbro action figures packages for awhile. I don't have any to look at, so I don't know if the scale and bases were different than the figure shown. I would just hate to have players get excited about this and then learn that it has nothing to do with MotF. It will be interesting to see what the seller has to say about it.

Bidding ended on it on eBay. Not sure if he ended it early or someone bought it but it said 0 bids. Hmm.

Let's be consistent at least.

Even though Vader redeemed himself in the end, his true Light Side Spirit would be of his "true and unadulterated" self as Hayden. Total BS, I know.

All I associate with Hayden (as Anakin) is "date rapist." There's just something creepy about the way he portrays Anakin in Eps II and III.

Isn't the big appearance of Anakin as a force spirit (aside from the end of RotJ) in Legacy?
I'm disappointed that we're apparently not getting kid-Anakin, with Force Sense or some other precog-appropriate ability and crazy repair skills.

He sent me a reply and said he got it from his supplier. He doesn't play the game so he probably assumed it was from the current set. It's a good chance it is from MoTF since it is most likely in production now at the factories over there.

They have the factories do test runs prior to release, which get sent to the WotC offices for approval. This is likely from that process, and an example of a figure that was probably not approved for release at the factory level, judging from the bad quality of the base. Was supposed to be thrown out and instead went home with someone or got picked out of the trash to be resold.
