This was based off around 11:30 EST
The top used piece according to team building is Ugnaught Demlitionist not close at alll but 2nd none the less is the Mouse droid. Top faction piece was Mas Ameda, followed by General Dodonna Top separatist piece coming at #6 is the battle droid Dash Rendar is the top unique other than Mas/Dodonna
The least played Characters each with only 9 squads are both from clone strike General grievous and Quinlan Vos.
Alderaan troopers actually have 111 squads built with them, yet Bail Organa only has 10.
Princess Leia captive is a must have piece, but it must be for eye candy only, only 26 squads involved her.
We will chance losing Ferus Olin to betrayal or Das Jennir to dying, but we don't dare play Darth Vader dark jedi.
No love for Dark times. Major Max Veers, K'Kruhk and the Imp engineers never reached past 32 squads. Good thing the Trianii scouts look cool, because their shelf action is at 23.
Darth Revan edges out Jango Fett BH and Durge JH
Jabba the Hutt, Biggs Darklighter,B'omar Monk, Djas Puhr All have more squads than Chewy fearless scout, Darth Maul on speeder, and A'sharad Hett
Randomness, but it was fun to see

If a character is hit by an attack and makes an evade save, I believe it is still considered to have been 'hit' and thus not eligable to benefit from Veers' CE.

You are correct, that's why Zuckuss is so amazing in the era of mass Evaders. Possibly they suggested the 181st mainly because even if they do get hit then you've got Evade to bypass the damage given. So it's a win-win on not getting shot or making the Evade save.

Awesome read, I love random statistics. If you find any other interesting ones, post them!
Wait, more people use Geonosian Picador than Quinlan?

DarthJim/DarthPercocet-sure thing, it was fun. I think i'll add more stuff on sunday. PhageLab wrote:Wait, more people use Geonosian Picador than Quinlan? Yes sir! Jedispyder - you would be correct. Evade if hit, or extra movement if they are not hit. I find them to be pretty dang versatile, despite having low HP.

Princess Leia Captive works great with a Han STA + Ithorian Commander squad.

this is awesome! Glad to see people trying out new teams. I created a Quinlon Vas team earlier today, put him with General Skywalker, figure if he gets savage, he might as well have momentum to go with it

If you have a Vractyl Wrangler then, per your first statement, you have no Savage to go with your Momentum...

I've seen those stats before and agree they are amusing but there are probably reasons for most of them.
The reasons for the top pieces should be obvious, they are cheap. The next thing most have in common is they can be used in multiple factions.
Now for the "underrepresented" pieces I'm guessing some, Vader Dark Jedi for example, were outdated before the squad builder ever came online and thus was never used much because of it. For someone like Chewy, Fearless Scout his lack of use has to do with his recent appearance, uninspiring stats, and multiple versions which keep him out of squads.
One of the other things that doesn't show up is how differently the pieces get used. If two people post the same squad does that real mean a piece gets used twice as often. Perhaps a bigger offender is the "variation" squad which just changes a couple pieces and shuffles a few points but creates a new use for all of its pieces.
The usage stats at the top end are certainly helpful to knowing what pieces are expected in squads but as you move down the list quality vs quantity is far more subjective.

For sure man, I didn't post the stats for anything but my own amusement and reasoning. I just found it interesting, and with my friends playing almost strictly for fun (odd saying huh) I can branch out more.

Well i'll tell you what you also did in this thread, i been noticing some people talking about making squads with some of them un-used pieces you mentioned, you might of single handedly got alot of people back more into the game more to where if there gonna start coming up with idea's for some old pieces. Very well move Trick & great thread.
