Whats so good about Ashared Hett? Why is his price so freakin' high?! I mean, some people think that he's extremely scarce(r) than the other VRs, but WOTC has never done that before so why should they do it now? Also, he has decent stats (IMO), so that shouldnt be the reason either... have an answer?

It's the same thing with Revan, a piece that is in high demand but seems to be shortpacked. Auggies (I think) stated that they didn't get too many and were offering a crapton for 1 when he was first released.

Price is high because, from all the reports I'm seeing, he's a ridiculously rare pull, even from cases. His price will likely normalize as more of him come on to the market.

He's only $14.99 at T&T, but has been out of stock for a while, so I imagine if they got him back in stock his price would be a lot higher, and is $27.99 at CSI (also Out of Stock).

I refuse to believe that he would be any more rare than all the other VR's in the set. Seriously i don't know why people are panicking and are willing to pay more than $15 for him.
I've bought 3 cases of Dark Times (two for myself and one for a sealed tournament) and all 3 had A'Sharad Hett in them. So here he seems to be one of the most common VR's in the set!

Auggies created a big panic for him to fill their preorders. Add in that he is a bit of a fan favorite, you have the recipe for high prices. He is as rare as any other VR, he was quite common among my groups cases.

AltRealityGames.com has them for $26. I bought two on Friday morning and had them Saturday afternoon via FedEx. They had one left at the time and they are the only only retailer I could find that had them in stock. I also opened 5 cases and never pulled him or Chewbacca.

We opened 4 at the release. Anecdotal local evidence simply feeds internet rumor. He's just as rare as any other VR, the difference is all types of buyers want one.

i got a pack with hett in it out of 1 pack pull, also had an eg-05 and mando jedi hunter in it, best dark times pack ive gotten
