Yoda force spirit with affinity for New Rep. So...Rebel and New Republic...two factions who already have force spirits. That being said the CE is awesome. Who are you going to pair up with the little green dude?

After searching through characters without force renewal for both factions, I came up with my prime candidate being: Cade Skywalker...the not New Rep one...you know...the big one with the guns and all the "pew pew pew" (lazer gun noises) and the cool pose and the Legacy of the Forceness with him. He'll heal a lot more than he used to be able to and mettle will help with any misses. I dig it baby. Also thinking Kyp will be nice give the renewal one to.

The genius thing is that you can think of him as a double Force Spirit, haunting someone and CEing someone else. Essentially Force Renewal to 2 characters with 1 getting the uber-Mettle as well.

Agreed, I think however that fringe and New Rep benefit the most here. Not too many rebels without renewal other than Kota, the bug (Kazdan) and a few others. I think that Jensari defenders will enjoy the extra points too.

Personally, I like the idea of him on Cade best, with rerolls and points for his heal, plenty of attack there. Kyp is the other one who urgently needs it, finally getting to use his force push without having to have a spirit attached. Other thoughts include Zuckuss, Jereal (litrally a living sheild) and Keria, who would be pretty interesting. Generally though, he's really powerful for his cost. 20 points for an abundant force spirit that's force point ultility is only rivalled by Palp on the Thowrn? I can hear the O.R shedding tears of sorrow at the moment. XD

oh, my bad i thought it was rep. and new rep. well in that case were gonna see a lot more teams of hoth pilot luke and VAU returned, except they'll be able to add cade into their teams now.

Han Solo, Scoundrel might not be too bad of a pairing. He usually sits back a bit with Mobile and Evade anyway, so Yoda's speed shouldn't be an issue. He can move extra with Mobile or reroll attacks at critical times or reroll the evades with Mettle - should prolong his lifespan considerably. Plus other Force users could be using up Yoda's points (any of the Rebel pushers).
In NR, I think Kyp is a decent option to get his tricks off without having to wait for Impulsive Renewal and going Savage. He doesn't have any abilities to utilize the Mettle though. Plenty of other NR pieces who could use Yoda's points then. Maybe Wolf Sazen would be a better choice and he would become more playable. Too many NR have FR1 already which is why Spirit Luke isn't too popular either. At least Yoda can benefit others through his CE besides his Force Buddy.

I'm thinking GMLS. Mettle would be very useful with how save-based he is, as would the force battery aspect. Also, if a character has two different Force Renewals, does it get both?
