With timmer's estimate of 790 figs for the complete collection, I was just wondering how many people think of the complete collection in game terms, in uniqueness terms or in completion terms as per publications of minis. I know I haven't completed even one of these types (but I am totally close to a few of them, if I ever wanted to).
Go ahead and write down what you think it is if there isn't an option for you.

I went with other because I am collecting one of each mini by name, or at least that is how I measure my progress. Because although there are a few minis (mainly huge ones) I am not really bothered about getting, I do generally want one of each figure. I do not need however 2 different Vader Imperial Commanders, because of the different bases. I prefer the BoH one and will get it eventually.
When I am putting stuff in my collection I will put it in twice if there is an exact double somewhere else - ie Boba Fett, I have the RS one but do not intend to get the R/I one, however marked it as a have because I believe it reflects the level of my collection according to my standard. Likewise when I get the Clone Wars Battle pack I will mark off the Mace Windu in RotS set.
That is how I count them. It wouldn't be much above the number just from sets because aside from GOWK, Count Dooku of Seranno and a few select others most of the other ones are replicas.

R&I shouldn't be on the list. At all. Everything else is fair game, but as Lobotnik said above, I'm not collecting multiple Han on Tauntauns and Mace Windus that are the same.

I can't believe I didn't ask where Starship Battles stands in here (I think I have a complete set of 60)
Do you think it should be the 975 club?

Yeah it is like I have both Leia Hoth Commanders. It is nice to have them, but I will probably end up trading one with someone who is a collector and wants every single mini ever produced.

Just wanted to say if that really was an estimate, it was almost perfect as I went trough and counted 789 (I guess i might be 1 off).

I have a spreadsheet - if I am off I would love to know (Sincerely). I think it is 790.

I didn't mean an estimation as if he didn't count. I know he did his fair diligence (although, I only did 633 as a quick one-through, discounting duplicate uniques off of the 790 number). I only mean that, in his estimation completion is 790 and not 915 (or 840, which discounts Rebels and Imperials, but also discounts starters and supplements) I should have put "opinion" instead of "estimation" Sorry for the confusion.
I wish I could put another option after it was created (Based on Phage's comment) that only removed Rebels & Imperials
(another couple options:
975: Everything in 915 and Starship Battles
891: Everything in 915 minus Rebels & Imperials
)

891 is good! Rebs & Imps is like buying 2 singles in a plastic easter egg! Actually, 885 may be better as the 2007 starter is all reprints, and none of the earlier starters are counted either...

How about a complete collection corrected for rarity:
1 of every VR 2 of every R 4 of every UC 8 of every C
(At least, that's the distribution for the 40-sets.)

You have 907/915 minis, and 1589 total. Your collection is 99.13% complete Rebels and Imperials (16/24); 16 total Stupid Rebels and Imperials

I would fill it in if I had them somewhere else. Also, just fill it in to see what it feels like having 100% :)

I have petitioned before to get R&I off the list - or at least something we can toggle. But to no avail

I don't understand what the 633 means.

The 633 (estimate) is counting Luke Skywalker only once, despite the fact that there are multiple versions of Luke Skywalker, over multiple factions. Same goes for all of the other figures that have multiple representations.
