Anyone who is looking at this on a forum, it is not just because you love minis. It is also because you love Star Wars! With that said, I bet a lot of you collect, cherish, love other Star Wars items other than minis or maybe just minis. What is your favorite thing you own Star Wars? Could be minis, statues, posters, anything. What is your crown jewel of your collection? Here is mine- I love chess. Probably one of the reasons I like minis so much is the strategy is not to different than chess. About 15 years ago I noticed they were making these Rawcliffe Pewter guys and thought, wow would those make a sweet chess board. At $20 or more a pop it was way too much for me spend. Then I got an idea. My family always wanted to know what I wanted for Xmas and Birthday (which sucks for me cause they are only a couple of weeks apart, so it made it impossible to do any toy shopping from Dec. to Jan. when all the good deals are in the stores...sigh, but I digress :P ) so I thought, hey I could tell them what pewter guys I wanted and where to find and have them shipped (my mom was a notorious JC Penney catalog ship to the house person) I figured I would get a couple of guys a year and just keep going until I had enough for my playset. The early years were different cause they kept coming out with new pieces due to the prequels, so my ideas of who I wanted kept changing. My girlfriend at the time got me the marble chess board on a trip to Mexico. All in all I probably only bought 4 or 5 guys out of pocket and got the rest as gifts. One marriage, one kid, two houses later I am almost done. lol The labor of love, the time involved, and the fact that each piece has its own story make this truly priceless to me. Someday I hope to get a glass case to put over it to help keep the dust off, but that will be another project for a later date. What's your story?

I don't have it photographed, but when the special editions were released in theaters, Taco Bell did a huge promotion with it. They had this cardboard chandelier of Star wars characters (3-po, Vader, Boba, Ewok, and some others that don't immediately come to mind) and they let me have it when they were all done, it's at my parents house still. I should hang it up in my class room.
I also have the Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight action figure that was given away special at the Return of the Jedi 7:00 show on opening day. Pretty cool, though I wish I'd sold it when it was worth a lot more than it is now.

For Christmas a few years ago I opened a box to find a small (8x10) poster print of A New Hope signed by Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher! My jaw dropped when I saw it and I now have it framed and sitting in my room as you walk in by my SWM AT-AT.

I have many jewels, but the one that comes to mind most is hanging right in front of me as I type this in my office, a Revenge of the Jedi poster signed by James Earl Jones.

My crown jewel would be my Shadow Stormtrooper armor I wear for 501st events. It may not be the most valuable piece in my collection, but it is my favorite because of all the work I've put into it. That and the accessories I've got to turn my shadowtrooper into the pimptrooper.

I don't call it my crown jewel, I call it "my heirloom", but I have a 24X36 framed ESB poster (the Gone with the Wind one) signed by George Lucas, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford. Unfortunately after displaying it prominently in the living room for many years, the autographs are starting to fade. I could change the glass out to UV-proof, but that would void the CoA.

Hey Super Cool, I also collect Those Pewter figures. I think the coolest Star Wars Item I have is this Poster Painted By Randy Martinez entitled, " SITH THE POWER OF THE DARK SIDE" which was a Celebration IV exclusive and signed by the artist. I'm looking forward to going to CV and picking up another Sweet Poster. I love threads like this which help me realize that I'm Not the only one Loves and Collects Star Wars!

My prize jewel: I wish I had autographs lol, no, most of my stuff is in storage, but either my Crimson Empire Comic Pack+Graphic Novel and Shadow Trooper, or my vintage At-St Driver still in package. I am proud of my Sith collection in mini (still need Freedon Nadd though, someone trade him )
