The Grenades idea is fun, but you could do that before with the old Boushh. I like the high HPs for 26, but there isn't much damage potential. A Tarpals squad is probably the best for this guy. Might need Panaka for swapping into position too. This new Boushh isn't horrible, but he's clearly designed to be using those Grenades. I suppose he could be ok if teamed with Whorm. Twin would really help him. EDIT: Oh, I also loved the "review" of Boushh on the website. Goodness, the author clearly doesn't play the game. Boushh isn't a self-sufficient piece. You are going to want to team him with good CEs or SAs. That's what this game is all about: squad synergy. There aren't very many pieces that are plug and play options.

Wow - an actual preview. I'm impressed! :) As for Boushh - he's not bad. Not great, but not bad. I think he'll play really well with KKJBM and Gen Wedge - Mobile double Grenades 40, plus if you have LSFS KKJBM has Mettle to help those saves, or Leia Skywalker (yep, still weird to say) for re-rolled saves.

Quote from preview: "The Dark Times will build off of the new Dark Horse comic book series (called simply Dark Times)."
The "New" series - which was published originally, what, 3-4 years ago?

[/heckle] Again, another example of how poorly researched the article is. Most avid SW fans have been aware of the Dark Times comic for some time. Just like any normal SWM player will see Boushh and think of ways to boost him. He's not a stand alone piece. I'd like to know how those idiots were given a SWM preview. They certainly don't represent the gaming side of SWM.

Nice upgrade, if not too exciting. Nice sculpt as well.
But the real winner is the set symbol. So cool.

It looks pretty fun in my opinon. A solid figure for 26 points. Can shoot fairly well, but also can deal a potencial 40 damage twice with Tampels or can reroll evade saves along with frag saves. Or pair him with Palp to give him force points.
Just one of those figures that can slot into multiple squads confortably.

Meh. He's okay. Personally, I think there are going to be a lot better options for those 26 points most of the time. Even with Tarpals, I'd rather a pair of Artillerists over Boushh. The Artillerists together will be sending out 80 damage, as will Boushh, but the Artillerists have the advantage of not needing to get within 6, benefiting from Queen Amidala's CE, and being two seperate units. If I want to do rerolling Evades, I think Jarael or Dash would almost always be better choices. I think he's only ever going to be played because people feel like using him, not because he's the best mini for the job.

i approve of IG88!!! im interested to see how the new sith assassins SA will work out, it seems like it would work pretty good in a batch of 2 or 3 of em to shut down some of the unleashed force powrs
