Nope, Galloping (and Strafe) only work on the turn of the character with the ability. Since Galen will be pulling on his own turn, Gallop will not be active on Yobuck.

It used to. But no more. Galloping Attack now includes "This ability is usable only on this character's turn."

Yeah, there ways of Doombot'ing a strafing Ewok and then letting him go. IE: You would tow a piece with strafe and it could count as strafing even though it wasn't on it's turn. That got changed, for the better.

You can only gallop on your turn. Neither a tow or a pull would initiate a gallop, because it isn't Yobuck's turn.

I remember when Yobuck first came out...I used to tow him with R2 (with Flight, so no AoOs!), and then gallop back over the pieces again. It was great fun. And broken. So it got changed.

It was a problem, sure. But not as big as the theoretical infinite movement provided by Lift.

Lift designates a starting spot but the movement isn't reastricted so it was theoretically possible to move the piece all over the map before ending adjacent.

just a weird rule loophole
