I bought them all within the last year. Actually, after shipping, I did pay about $2 per Ug (ps...which is cheap for Ugs in my book). And I do sell them cheaper if you buy more. So really I'm losing money. Plus, I offer the same deal to everyone on this site. Try to buy them cheaper anywhere else. :) Oh...and I don't just sell them...I trade them too.

(...and I did not put myself in the same boat as Starwalker.)

I did that for a friend once with a green deck. Some Llanowars and Thorn Elementals and they gave it away and was shocked that I would be upset about it.

If you base the worth of your giving on what the person does with the gift, you've missed the point.

No, they are missing the point because they don't appreciate the gift in which they receive... they do in a way, until they decided they are no longer committed to the game. The only thank you that was received and a slap in the face once they don't care and just give it away.

A gift is something anyone that receive from it should appreciate. And the only time I can understand to see if they wanted to sell it when they are in a financial crisis.

Thank you to everyone who had Kind words for me. Understand that even if i didnt have Starwars to get my little ones involved in i would get them into something else. I dont have all of the money in the world but we get by. My Nephew, Son & Myself's main goal is to collect them all as they say in Pokemon LOL. But someone like 11MB Starwalker is unreal & never seen someone as generous as him. I even offered to give him a piece in return because i didnt feel worthy enough to accept such a gift & he decline & refused. So to not even want anything in return in another whole story of generousity in my eyes. My nephew i look after & im a role model in his life until his father returns from where hes from that i wont get into. Even when his father returns I am his godfather & would die for my children & nephews. The fact that a simple strategy game can influience children into staying out of trouble & believe it or not learn lessons used in life is amazing. Im still in shock that someone like 11MB Starwalker even pm'ed me asking me why i wanted Revan so much & even sent it. I will admitt that my faith in a somewhat peaceful world was a dream untill this. It may seem so little compared to other situations i mentioned but to me this deed is so big & also to my little ones. Also this isnt a thread so i can make people feel sorry about me & my little ones so that everyone sends me pieces. I dont think i would recieve any pieces anymore for free from someone. I still trade fair & even give deals to other little ones i trade with. This is just a thread to explain about how nice only 1 Person can be & how only one person could change the whole outlook of ones point of views of certain situations. so this is the last time i will post on this thread but feel free to keep posting because 11MB Starwalker deserves that. I will still check it & read every little thing wrote on here. Sorry about my spelling & my english i hope you's dont hold it against me. But thank you for letting me tell this story & above all thank you again from all of us 11MB Starwalker.

-Bobby Pirrone

p.s. Wanna Mention 1 More Time That 11MB StarWalker really didnt wanna be reconized for doing this deed so that he can get all thank you's & look like a big person. He wanted to keep this low key but get the message acrossed that we can live very well through the SWM universe.. So Thank You again my new Friend
11MB Starwalker.

p.p.s. I wanna also thank Swinefeld who recently traded with my nephew & could of very well took advantage of him because my nephew offered a great expensive figure & asked for a good not to expensive one. & Swinefeld turned round & told my nephew no no pick some more stuff out i couldnt do it for just that. So basically he didnt take advantage of a little kid & had an open chance to do so. So thank you too Swinefeld.

I know swinefeld. He is a good guy. My son plays with him and his son at our shop. Wish I could be there more! Anthony is always hitting dad up for a new booster and he just never says no hehe. He's also the one that introduced me to this site. So if I get annoying he's the one to blame Flapper

This is a story that i had to tell & very well wanted to tell. i recieved a pm today from the user on this site that goes by "" 11MBStarWalker "" . Now Normally i thought this was a trade offer because the Pm was labled Revan, & Revan is a piece that myself, my son & my nephew were really looking to get. There user names on here are my son is ( Mr Skywalker2001 ) & my nephew is ( TpBunghole1 ). Anyways all who traded with them or myself before know i look after my nephew & got them into the game for purposed ranging from, teaching them things, keeping them out of trouble & bonding with them. & SWM is a great way to do them all. Anyways back to the story, i recieved this pm that said that following:

"You really seem to want Revan.
My trade list is not 100% accurate.I actually have 3 Revans.I suppose it is just extraordinary luck.
There doesn't seem to be a great sense of community or wanting to help another member. Strong personalities and all that.I don't even post squads on this site anymore as there are never any constructive comments. All of my squads are on Shoebox. It takes forever to import them and edit them, anyway...

There really isn't a piece that I have a strong desire to have.I have well over 1000, and I haven't had the time to properly inventory them.

I'll make a simple deal with you. Tell me what you'd do with Revan, PM that and at least one squad you'd create with the piece, and PM me your address. I'll send you a Revan. It will be an opened one, but the piece and card are both mint.I still want to keep one unopened one

When you receive it, you can decide if you want to post my generosity. Maybe it will convince others to do something to help another member.

And, no, I'm not joking.

--11MB "

Now i sent him the following things he wanted me to send & guess what he is sending me a Darth Revan. He told me to tell everyone because he heard that the reason why i play mini's & trade mini's is all for my son & nephew, whos father isnt around right now & needs a father figure to look after him untill he is back. & i use SWM's to bond with them & to teach them alot of values that you can learn from the game which can be used in Life. & to keep them out of trouble & in school showing that if you work hard, good things come to you. May take awhile but they do.

He also wrote to me "
If you post on Bloomilk, WOTC, or elsewhere, just be sure to relate how you use the game to influence the kids in your life. That was the important thing. People can make what they want out of my generosity. It is what you told me about the kids that made the decision easy. I really don't care what Revan is "worth." I think it will be "worth" more to the kids that you have introduced to the game, and they'll love it, because it really is such a great looking piece:) "

So the morral of this story (& this is a true story that just happened to me today) is that i think we have such a great community & he does also but there is alot of arogance & him & myself would like to see more situations like this to happen to others. Imagine if we had a community like this to help the kids & even older people who play who dont have finacess to get figures like this. Everything dont always have to be a trade, if we can help alot of players recieve figures they really want & will use but cant afford to trade or buy for them, then this would be a great way to bring our community together even stronger.

I Mean, this is SWM community, the great community in the world. I've met tons of great people & now friends that i probably would of never met if it werent for SWM. & for his Kindness & looking out for my children who have no relations to him, he is up there on my best friends list, all though i never met him but to just know someone thats kind of heart like 11MBStarWalker has, my children & nephew are so excited & thankful that he gave them a piece they love & wanted to bad & i have been trying to trade to get him off of everyone. I never told people that i wanted revan so bad because it was for my little ones, they are my hearts & i would die before i would let them feel unhappyness. But that is my story. Comment if you like & tell me what you think about this story if you like. I just thought this story had to be told because in a world for of so much Chaos & Violence. there is a shine of light in 11MBStarWalker. i know SWM is just a game but its a start to a better world. Thank You For Reading this & Your Time & Thank You Once Again 11MBStarWalker from me, Bobby Pirrone, my nephew Tony Pirrone & my son Robert Pirrone jr.

p.s. sorry for such a long thread & sorry if i mispelled alot thats just who i type. & i needed to tell this story

Great to see gamers doing this for each other. It was very generous of 11MB to give up a Revan, and it sure seems as if Bobby appreciates it.

Three cheers for 11MB!!! BlooMilk

ok so everyone is familiar with this story. so anyways i recieved the package today & opened it up & what do i see, Darth Revan figure & Stat Card both in Mint Condition, but wait theres something else. After looking further in the box i discover that there were 2 more figures & 2 more stat cards. This guy is unbelieveable. I found that he put Dash Rendar (Universe) & Zaalbar (KOTOR) in the box as well.

Now not only will he not take anything back in return & not only did he send me Revan who is the most expensive piece. This guy adds 2 more as a surprise. I mean this guys generousity stretches futher than the average person in my eyes, he is just unreal & i praise this dude so much you dont even know. Growing up in a big city & bad neighborhood you dont understand noone has ever been this kind to me & my little ones.

So i wanna salute this guy once again for not only the one surprise of revan, but the other 2 figures. He didnt have to send any because i didnt trade him, he offered & gave. & its not like he gave me a deal on revan for another figure. This guy wont take anything in return. I really hope this story touches everyone in our community & shows that in these hard times of economy, we can still help eachother out. Im not saying just give away your pieces, what im saying is if we stick together & help eachother out, then we become sort of a family to eachother & are a good example to other situations.

so 11MB Starwalker, once again you've out done yourself & i wanna thank you very much & the same comes from my little ones.. thank you

-Bobby Pirrone

p.s. I wanna remind everyone 1 more time that he didnt wanna be reconized for this good deed. His main goal was to reach out & bring our community closer together. It is already really tight, but theres room always to bring it closer..

Two more things also, (11MB StarWalker) asked me if i could go on ShoeBox & rate & comment on his squads. He didnt put them on Bloomilk but the problem with it is they wont let me make an account on Shoebox i still gotta figure out how to. If anyone knows how i could make an account on shoebox can you PMME? Its saying i already used my URL & cant make another account under the same web address. I think it was my nephew who made one before & he dont remember the user name or password he used. & #2 If anyone gets a chance & has a Shoebox account, would you be kind & rate & comment on (11MB StarWalker) squads & doing so in a fair manner. thank you again so much people

The other two were a surprise:)

I couldn't find all of other pieces I had extras of, but I checked your Haves list before sending the Revan. Considering Revan, I looked for other KOTOR pieces. Zaalbar was the only one I could find right away.

I do have some squads here, but all of them are on Shoebox. It takes a long time to import and then edit them all, as not all import correctly. Long process...I can only transfer a few at a time. I used Shoebox first, and it has been faster to build squads.

Glad you liked the pieces. I was looking for a Mission Vao, but I couldn't find it.

Hope you have fun with Revan, and I look forward to seeing what you three create with him:)

As an example of how a good deed has come back to me, I asked Bill about the process for playing in DCI tournaments. He responded with some questions for me to answer in order to provide me with a "map" to, perhaps, GenCon.

Yea but i know you didnt just do this good deed to recieve one in return. you did a great deed in the most unselfish act i have ever witnessed. & the surprise was even extra more of what i expected. Hats off to you & i think more good deeds should be done for you because you most deff deserve them to. As for mission vao thats ok you didnt send her we actually have her & as for the dash & zaalbar you didnt even have to send them, just shows what kind of person you are.

On The GTL i gave you +3 points instead of one too, because i believe a point should be given for each figure sent & honestly i think just revan alone was worth the +3 points. & I cant keep saying enough but thank you. & hopefully we always keep in touch man because you have a new friend.

I would like to eventually get to Gencon one year too, im getting pretty good & im ranked 5th in my State & would like to go & play in a major tourney like that. I have alot of great players & compitition at my LGS & would like to take it to the next level by going. & hopefully when going i meet alot of people i met on here in person. Because alot of the people on here & WOTC are really great decent people & would like to get to know them in person.. But to 11MB thank you so much again for everything & again when i figure out how to make a Shoebox account im gonna rate them. If you want me to rate them fair & comment them on what i really think they are then im the right person for the job. So ill keep in touch buddy thanx so much

-Bobby pirrone

p.s. & yea swinefeld is a great person also, my nephew recieved his package today of a trade they did & there had to be atleast 10 extra commons & uncommons of stuff my nephew really likes. I would rate both 11Mb & Swinefeld in the same category of kindness. These guys are unbelievable..

Bobby's son and nephew both sent me very nice PMs.

It was a pleasure to read about how much they love the game, their favorite characters, and how they appreciate what Bobby does for them.

Not only is our mister 11MB StarWalker a very cheritable gamer, he actually takes time to rate squads and give comments, which is somethin gI have gotten really bad about. He always has something good to say or finds a fun way to criticism.

All SWM gamers should aspire to help out other gamers. Well done sir. I glad someone has found a way to get someone new into the game and keep things going.

Well, thank you Artemis.

I wish I had more time to look at other squads and provide comments. It is intended to be constructive. Everyone has a different perspective on the relative utility of a piece and how to best use it. Nobody can be the final arbiter on a squad or its pieces.

The ratings system is imperfect. The same is true on Shoebox, where all of my public squads are posted. Some marginal squads received attention they don't merit, while some that are strong, receive none.

I prefer commenting on a squad to just rating it. I've seen some squads with numerous ratings votes, but hardly any comments. Suggestions, ideas, or questions that are posted for a squad offer all of us an opportunity to learn more about the game, pieces, and squad construction.

I always appreciate the suggestions that others provide. Even if I don't necessarily agree, at least I have some information to ponder and consider for the future.
I liked the post that appeared earlier this week suggesting that we should all leave at least 5 comments on other squads for each one we post. I'm not sure I have that much time, nor others. But I can, hopefully, do 2 or 3:)

Thank you for posting this story. It is encouraging to read about others in this community exhibiting kindness. I was recently in a debate about such things on the WOTC forums and was saddened by the responses I received.

11MB, I have no idea where on this planet you live, but I'd enjoy a game of 9-ball with you. I'm a rookie, so you'd likely destroy me nine games out of ten but I'd still have fun. Thanks for your generosity. Though I will not directly benefit from it, the community as a whole will. I greatly appreciate that fact. btw, are you still looking for Mission?

Also, if you are reading this post, jediinexhile, thank you for your generosity. It is why I got into this game in the first place.

Well, I am on the planet. I spend most of my time in Arizona. I do go to Pennsylvania periodically, usually in the summer. I go to New Mexico occasionally; the man who makes my cues lives there. Utah, Colorado, and Southern California at times.

I play all pool games. In order of preference: 9-Ball, Straight Pool, and One Pocket. I play 8-Ball, but I don't play unless it is either BCA or Valley rules. There are so many "House Rules" for 8-Ball that it can become frustrating, and a weaker player can win. Really, anybody can win 1 game of 8-Ball:) I'm good enough to beat all but the best, so I can't make a living playing pool. I've spent too much time becoming an historian to give up that to play pool. But I have played against and watched some of the best players in the East, when I was in school there, and out West. I also give lessons from time to time. Most players I've been able to improve by 20-25% in a short amount of time, if they practice.

If you're anywhere around the Southwest, you can probably find a way to play 9-Ball against me. Maybe back east, or at GenCon, if I have a way to bring one of my cues, which I normally won't put in checked luggage, but I could just ship one FedEx and pick it up at FedEx in Indianapolis.

Good job Edders.
I was just thinking of ways today to help some kids in my neighborhood get into the game. They love Star Wars, but cannot afford Boosters. I have done my best to give away whatever minis I can, and they are hooked. Its really easy to forget as gamers and collectors why we play this awesome game.
Edders ressurecting this thread makes me want to get a case for the boys. Even though they have some pieces, they don't have great pieces.
What 11MB did was outstanding. That mini goes for 65$ and he gave it away for youth of our community.
Just outstanding!

I appreciate what he did.
Thanks for bringing this back Edders.

Yeah, there are a couple of guys that just started getting into the game and they really have a lot of heart. But of course they're early teens that are on a $40 a week budget with little no meta required pieces in their collection. So waylander, Tim and I have been hooking them up with as much as we can to help them beef up without it costing us way too much. In particular I hooked one of em up with a trade WAY in their favor. They pulled a Lobot, CLO and I traded my General Whorm Loathesome for it and a couple of EG's. The way I see it, there's not much fun in pistol whipping a blind kid. They need a better collection to play better. No matter how smart or good you are at the game, Nikto Soldiers DON'T WIN BATTLES. Plus with a little encouragement and advice, they no longer get discouraged. Better to lose a little value in the trade than lose fresh gamers and potential friends.
