2010 was somewhere around 60 players. Maybe 62? I know it was only 6 rounds, but it was only a couple players short of being 7 rounds, and 65 is the number required for 7.

I think the game was at it peak from 2006 - 2010. This is mainly because Wizards of the Coast was still making the game. I do not mean that as a slight to the VSet designers I mean heck I helped design a piece. But the fact the Wizards was producing a living game gave the Game Store's across the nation a buzz and activity. I said way back in 09 that when you start to lose the players that are not so good and lean towards casual play you will see the game come to an end. I think that the fact we finally had Regionals and Sarah working with us made things pretty good in the last couple of years. I think maybe the peak for me had nothing to do with play but when our community was able to replace Don's entire mini collection that he lost in a house fire. Heck we had Wizards employees spending their own money to help out. More than game play I think the people are what make the game what it is. I miss playing and would love to get back to playing. Currently Nate and I are working on just that. I miss the Sith Holonews thing it was fun being a part of that but life just crushed my ability to do that. Now that my divorce is final I hope to have more time to do things like play minis.
