Being a Sep fan, I'm a little confused with the Jedi Hunter Droid. In the one book it shows up in, it's near invincible. However, the catch is that the creature inside it (some sort of Force sensitive eel) that controls the droid body dies if it kills any living thing. However, if WotC stays with what was in the book, then that second new rumored Force power may be linked the the Jedi Hunter Droid.

I wonder if the Rodian brute will be a 3-point shooter.

Doesn't have satchel charge. Got to wait and see. There are some good potentials (Door Gimmick would be cool).

I think that refers to the EG-5 Jedi Hunter Droid from the Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels video game rather than the JK Bio-Droid from The Cestus Deception.

I haven't played that game, so I forgot about him. Either one could be good, but the EG-5 Jedi Hunter Droid would be preferrable over the JK bio-droid.

As much as I love getting any new Mandos...(especially those that HATE jedi) I'm not being a nay-sayer, but there are not a lot of "big names" in this set, which is very surprising to me. No Vader, Luke, Han, Leia, Boba, Emperor, etc: We have Chewie ('bout time), and some BH remakes, and...um...A'sharad? Yes...I know some of the most recognizable figures have been "done to death", but some have always been added to each set help sales (I guess). Just seems like a big departure not to see WotC continue on that path. Just my 2 cents, anyway!

We're finally getting away from over done stale characters. Even though this set is still mainly the big factions, its exciting to see new and unknown(using this term generally, as the characters are not unknown to everybody, if they were they wouldnt be made) characters.

Im thrilled with this set so far. What is with this set not having a Luke or Vader/Anakin(not that Im complaining), I though it was some kind of LFL rule that every set had to have one or the other. I hope this isnt just internet talk(glass Jabba anyone).

It was a rule. However, it was relaxed a few years ago. I am torn on the set. Too many characters I don't know about. However, I am excited for the BH and a lot of the C/U, which I think is important. As long as I get a new Vader in MOTF.

I think any set that gives factions more options is excellent. Sure OR, Sith, Sep, NR, and Vong are out in the cold on this one, but its the Dark Times and there are lots of interesting character options available.
I like the update, thanks Biggsy.

With so many fringe, a couple are bound to be useful in one or more of the minor factions (IG-88 and 4-LOM in a Seperatist squad anyone?)...
