My collection? Probably around $500. I haven't bought many packs or individual VRs, and I typically avoid the expense of cases by pre-ordering singles. Not to mention I haven't been in the game for long (about a year and a half, I think; I jumped in about the time of A&E).

However, I do know a fellow at the LGS who has dumped probably over 6K on SWM. Discretionary income, anyone?

Don't know. I'm a bit of a scavenger myself. Being outside US and being 14, I can't afford to throw away several g's on the minis I want. I generally pick up the odd Trademe auction a booster and what not, but I enjoy my trading with a mate I only see 2 or 3 times a year. Coming to Bloomilk has been awesome as now I can actually trade with other people from lil' old Aoteroa. I'll just list all the things I can remember off the top of my head. All prices in NZ dollars

3x A&E boosters @ $25 ( one was for Christmas)
2x LotF boosters @ $25
1x KOTOR booster - $25
1x BH booster - $40
53 Clone Wars minis - $35
49 Rebels and Lando DS - $50
5 commons - $10
Rebel Storm Ultimate Missions - $20 I think
Rebel Storm Starter - $25
Attack on Teth - $10
Attack on Endor - Xmas gift
2007 Starter - $25 I think
about 12 minis inc. Obi-Wan JM - birthday gift

That's something over $300. Not much, but definitely worth it!

I spent a few of money, almost $30 of a month, but I have since Rebel Storm collenting the minis, so by now I have one of biggest collection of Mexico, with almost 3,000 minis, for a foregeion country that officially don't sell minis, I think is a good collection, greettings.

Way too much. It's why I work and I don't have any kids to spend money on, so pretty much all my extra money goes into SW collecting. My BlooMilk "Haves" value rating topped $6K.

I'm guessing I've spend around £3000, possibly a bit more.

I've spent an average of at least $425 on each of the eleven 60-piece sets, and probably $220 on each of the four 40-piece sets, for a total of ($4675 + $880 =) $5555.

Add in extra stuff that I've purchased through the years (maps, extras, etc) and I'm definitely in 6K range. If you also count D&D minis (which I've purchased ONLY for future customization and to broaden my collection for Star Wars minis and RPGing) and it's probably almost 6.5K.
