Jax Pavan (not to be confused with Carnor Jax) has FlObi to pair up with which is fairly reasonable cost to get a double attacking shooter that has a decent attack value.
As for the Inquisitor, I know a little rampaging muppet on llama that I would be wise not to fail a save against this piece.

Jax is solid for his cost. I can see him adding to Rebel or Republic squads - easy to fit in anywhere.
Inquisitor has an interesting SA that could be game changing. Pieces that are out of FP rerolls will have to think hard about making that save, so it could be auto damage almost. Against non-Force squads, pretty much worthless as an attacker though (CE could come in handy). So, if he is getting Opportunist from Thrawn can he shoot since he does not have melee? Seems like it, but something doesn't feel right that I'm missing. Interesting option until he gets into range 6.

I like Jax. He's solid for his cost, and that 70 HP is a pretty solid breakpoint, surviving a Jedi running up, clubbing him, then the Double Attack next turn if the Jax player loses initiative.

If your opponent has no Force Users (all dead, or none to start with) he's not much use without cunning or opportunist, is he? Aye, though for most part, I imagine running him for his commander effect with his special ability as a secondary annoyance is probably more effective. Theres always none force users in a squad, weither it's a Uggie, a commando or whatever. So either way, up to the user whether he wants to invest in his commander effect. Afterall, this guy is a commander person to add to the roster then a melee person. I feel he may be alright in smaller squads. Though, I really do find it strange that he has no close combat abilitys whatsoever, but then again, I am not that famlier with the Imperial Inquistors in star wars, are they more force sensing batterys?

Actually on second look Jax kind of reminds me of another similar piece albeit a bit more costly, remember Kyle Katarn. The original? cost 31 HP 120 Def 18? Atk 12 Damage 10
Sa unique lightsaber accurate
force 2
I loved using this piece because everyone underestimated and forgot about him, then bam twin lightsaber hit for 40 and no one has bothered to hit him so he still is at full strength. Oh Kyle... Maybe Jax will be the new cheap ignored piece with hidden slayer potential?

I look forward to using the inquisitor with my Arica Swap Builds. Giving her a +17 against non-jedi is a nice boost for her. And that ce works for Lord Vader too. Also he has force push 1 which is like an attack but limited to within 6 squares he is a great auto damage guy to either kill off uggies in the way or push someone into place for your double attacks. One of my favs from this set

One of my favs from this set I wasn't thinking about the push part on first look through. It isn't much, but easy enough to take out Mouse Droids without having to hit their super high defenses or beefed up Stormies. He is a solid piece, but will require quite a bit of finesse to get the most for his points.

Not sure if I would throw in Throne Palps or not. Although that would still love about 105 points (after adding Mas) for Reborn minis. So maybe 9 to 10 Reborn to go along with some other door control and filler.

I really enjoy the Imperial Inquisitor, I will be funny to use her ability against jedi with few HP, like the padawans, younglings, etc, greettings.

In reps, Jax can be pretty huge, actually, momentum+oppo+twin is not bad for 16 points, and he should be able to pull that at least twice, with his hp and deflect.
