keep in mind that batman's mind is trained to the max... this means he would scout the situation first, as he always does... come on, you thing that a few things thrown would stop a man that falls from skyscrapers in his free time?!?

So Batman would scout it out, and decide to run away, or fight. If it is the latter, Vader senses him coming(unless batman has a ysalimiri, taozin, or is a vong) and beats him down. And Batman jumps off skyscrapers cuz he's got a cape/wings. Wings won't save him from a big@#$ wall chucked at him 100 miles an hour. If it is the former, Vader wins by default. Unless Vader says "No lightsaber, or the force, I want an unarmed fight.", Batman is toast and Vader becomes the Joker's new best buddy

So, if we are to consider the resources that each Batman and Vader have at their disposal, then Vader would still win regardless. Vader has the Imperial Military at his disposal. Vader would just slag the planet Batman was on with a fleet of Star Destroyers.
If it came down to combat, then I think the best Batman could do is escape. Vader does rely heavily on the force, but he's a decent fighter on his own, one of the better duelists around the Star Wars galaxy. Vader also has the technological superiority of the Star Wars universe. Batman's gadgets are not going to impress him all that much.
So, I'm going to have to go with Vader on this one.

You think Earth in Batman's realm has never been invaded by a race of superior technology and been defeated? And also if were talking "all of the resources at their disposal" and Vader IS using the entire Imperial army wouldn't make sense that Batman would have the JLA, JSA, Green Lantern Corps. at his disposal? Any one of those but itself is more than a match for the empire.
So, for my final thought on the matter, if they were allowed to prepare and were aware of each other prior to the encounter I give the win to Batman. But if Batman randomly appeared before Vader and they fought immediately then Vader wins 99.99% of the time.

I don't know, the JLA and all of Batman's friends have never impressed me much. They always have to get up close to fight people; whereas the Imperial military just sits back and shoots most of the time. And any time earth is invaded there, it seems like they aliens have some weakness that hinders them and that the heroes are able to take advantage of.
I think Death Star shot without warning = pwned Batman and his allies.

Judging by the comment made between Batman vs Vader.... if Vader utilizes Force Levitation more efficiently, to overwhelm Batman with debries and objects around his surroundings, then Batman will have no chance (batman has a limited amount of Stemina, he cannot keep up constantly)...
But if there is a room with nothing in it, and it's between Batman vs Vader, then it's 50/50

But if there is a room with nothing in it, and it's between Batman vs Vader, then it's 50/50 I dunno if both characters are teleported into an empty room, no other elements or build up or preperation to a confrontation... with one command "KILL!" Vader can just force choke him and it's over... the Bat is dead- if there is planning time and open resources... the Bat has a 60/40 over Vader

If there's one thing I've learned about arguing over fictional characters over the interbutt, it's that crossover fights never work.
Also, Google rules.

Vader would grip him for 40, then choke him, then do a riposte with twin. I'm not sure if Batman would stand a chance.. We do need a poll

Depends. Does Batman know the fight's gonna happen? If so, Batman, he'll be prepared. If not Vader. He has the Force.
(But when he does, Green Lantern just smashes him to hell...)

Batman has only ever beaten a weakened or holding back Superman. Batman only wins with prep time.
