I have no idea I was wondering the same thing Warlord_Hett wrote:I'm pretty sure you could still legally attack Palpatine with Rex using non-targeting attacks like attacks of opportunity. Execute Order 66 only prevents targeting, not attacking. nope pieces with order 66 cannot attack him I won a game that way once...I killed his Gen. Windu and his one other no order 66 Jedi then I used Palps to kill all his clones it was great

dnemiller wrote:Beast wrote:, I don't throw grenades at someone I cannot see, if that answers your question. That is confusing? You dont throw grenades at someone you cant see. That is how grenades work in the real world. So I am lost by your comment. I know how grenades work in the real world, but in SW minis, you have to have a legal target. He essentially asked if I play wrong all of the time and I gave an example, sorry for your confusion, I figured semi analogies were were kind of explanatory. My bad.

Warlord_Hett is right. Execute Order 66 prevents Targeting. For some reason AoO are non-targeted.

That only works on Diplomat characters like Imp Diggy and Camaasi etc. An AoO is a non Targeted attack.

this thread seems like a rule lawyer convention. People are arguing about situations that really wont happen.
If Palps sith lord is based to an enemy rex what could possibly be the benfit of moving him instead of tripling?
So Rex can twin him if he moves great. Why would he? Palps triples and what are the repricussions? Nothing because on Rex's turn he can do nothing and if he wants to leave Palps can kill him. So I just dont see where it would be huge a benefit to move Palps.
The chances of actually running onto someone who would actually play palps sith lord is more astonishing than anything. I mean now especially with Anakin/Vader Motf verison. I just dont see this happening too often.

I do use Palps with CW Rex in a swap squad its pretty fun, but with new vader and 501st rex being more usable and fun IMO i will prob be using that.

It would be nice if New Vader CE was for Allies instead of Nons.
