Believe it or not, Ayy Vida can be a very fun piece to play. She just has a mix of good SA's, and can be boosted a number of different ways.

Han Solo Smuggler. While I love the sculpt, I didn't like having only one attack even with the extra damage, but I underestimated those 40 damage blaster shots of his, and for only 13 more points Princess Leia Senator's CE more than makes up for his lack of defense or mobility.

i had JM Kit Fisto miss his four attacks on Count Dooku of Serreno and then miss a fith from an extra attack from Padme. I have been scared to play him ever since

For some strange reason, in the Clone Wars sealed, my ARC Sniper was my last man standing on my squad in almost all my games. He's never been as good since.

In sealed events, the two ARCs outperform the Republic Commando Pieces, but the Republic commandos have just too much synergy in constructed events to ever take the ARCs.

I found Deena Shan to be quite resiliant. Once my opponent had decimated me beyond the point of making a comeback, it took another 3-4 full rounds for him to finally pick her off in cover.

Luke Legacy from the Legacy set is awesome. Greater Mobile, accurate, double, stealth. For 39 points he's incredible. It just sucks that you can't put OTHER Luke's in with him-

Also, I did a one character match, with GMLS vs. Dooku of serreno. All of GMLS attacks were fail, block, and/ or riposte. GMLS died, and dooku only lost 20 HP.......

Sorry to ruin the party, but it only work on enemies with a lightsaber :) I once had a one-on-one match with my ER Fel against his GOWK. GOWK's SSM wasn't altered for this game, so he was quite hard to hit. I managed to Gauntle him rather early, got him down to 30 HP, when he used Force Push to kill us both and end it in a draw

A Defel Spy of mine has gold shoulder pads because he literally held out for three rounds against an Echani Handmaiden, a Senate Commando, a 501st Legion Commander, and Rieekan. To this day he remains incredibly lucky, and to quote what my entire group kept repeating, "He just does not die!"

i know that R2 Astromech is the greatest piece in the republic faction, but everytime i play him he was a game changer. i played a few games without him and had horrible results, i mean come on the fact that the republic would be screwed over without r2 astromech

Stormtrooper Officer. I put him in my squad so the Stormies would hit, not thinking much of his combat skills with a lousy 8 attack and 10 damage. But when he didn't move, was within 6 of a Czerka and shooting an activated foe (Thrawn) he was as good a shooter as Rex. He took down a Magnaguard Artillerist in one go.

At the 2006 gen con when champions was released, i had one of the in an army and based vader champion of the force who only had 20 health left, and promptly died at the hands of the mighty ugnaught. IT actualy won me the game.
