Hey guys, you remember that time like way long ago when I said I hate NR? I didn't mean it. I'm sorry. NR is great. I love the Solo's. I mean who doesn't? Double saves tickle me. Especially with GMLS.

But GMLS doesn't tickle me. I mean I'm sure he could if he wanted to. After all, he's the Grand Master of the Jedi. He could probably invent "Force Tickle" on the fly. Real easy like. But I mean to say that he has never tickled me, nor would I ever want him to tickle me.

Republic FTW! So much squad diversity.
I also like OR but they aren't really competitive. (Wookiee elite warriors rule!)

No. I've got to meet with the Robinson's. They've lost nine today!

By my count mandos have about 9 votes, making them tied for second as a write-in vote.

I didn't realize so many other people loved the New Republic as much as I :)

HAHA! You hadn't voted back then? Yeah, despite this thread being a little broken (including fringe instead of mandos) I ran across it and thought to myself, this needed to be brought back. Especially since opinions would be different since the recent boosters that have come out.

Wow, I totally missed that it was started almost a year ago. That is funny.

I'd also like to point out that they have a few of the best Jedi/Sith fighters in the game. (Durge JH, Darth Tyranus LDS, Aurra Sing JH, and Count Dooku of Seranno). A big roger that and seconded to that. I am a hardocore Sep fan and started collecting with Revenge of the Sith for Grievous and his droids. I love the Droid SA and the unique flavor it gives to the faction. Also twin for the win.

I was stuck between the 2 factions I play. in the end I chose sith. I have a fun time overpowering even good characters with people like Darth Bane.

See, originally all I wanted to play were seps. But starting out Seps are straight garbage. I was quickly convinced that WOTC decided to play a joke on the seps and viciously beat them with a wrath held for only the reddest headed stepchild. Regular clones swept through my droids within 2 rounds. Pitiful. But that's the way of starting up. That and at the time I started playing there weren't any droids even close to worthwhile for use (aside from the lancers, I know). From what was available I realized that it was an army that focused on the might of its uniques. So I shelved them. But now..., yeah, the love of Seps has come back to me and it's hard for me to place any other faction higher than it. But....., yeah, Emperor on toilet just sets me up for the giggles. Pure joy to unleash the volatile mess available when he's taking a dump on the map.

If I start winning alot with something, I have to change it up because I nkow my Opponent is making something to counter another Thrashing. But with the Droids, I go with HKs and IGs all day with a BDO and Grievous DAC. Toss in a Lancer and its Dark Times for an unsuspecting enemy. Ive been getting more creative with Seps too, doing Sidious double Pawns, giving the Lancer 3 Acts in one round.

I'm a fan of quick transport. Use Whorm and Sidious with Desert skiff to launch your B3's straight into the heart of the battle and have Sidious pawn them once they get there for 12 attacks. Heck, with the new commando droids, EG-05's, LR-57's and IG MagnaGuard Artillerists, what can't you do? Hooray for droids that don't wither and die at the site of the opposition.

I really want to try out some EG-05's with a double-granting commander effect in there (with ranged backup of course)

My top 4 squads are New Rep, Rep, Old Rep, and Imperial...Old rep is just now making this list. I had no interest in collecting them until I pulled the Exile and then traded for Vodo. Bought me some Vissas mar and I pulled like 3 Jedi Battlemasters....unstoppable.
