The Epics are separate from set 9 and so this talk of Epics (as cool as it is) is clogging up the intent of this thread.

Yeah isn't that like saying the sub set is a different thing? Why not keep it streamlined in one thread?

This thread is called V SET 9 SPOILERS. The sub set is part of set 9, The epic 3 set is not part of either, has different designers and a different start and end date. Why not just start talking about v 10 or v 11 if you want to do it this way.

"God forbid we post on bloo milk."? Really?

Its just as easy to start a new thread.

Whatever.

Post whatever you want, wherever you want, just ignore that threads even have names. I don't care, I have more important things to do.

apparently everyone has better things to do then bloomilk. but it is a new set coming out so it shouldn't be a big deal to talk about them here. especially since no new spoilers or anything to talk about are being released anyways.

There is still a BT that no one seems to care to finish. And we still need more PT's to even help finish V9. If you guys want more spoilers, then help us, to help you.

sorry Jake, my comment was meant more tongue in cheek.
really didn't need to upset any one.

just pissed at the decline on the game, and the fact that I don't play hardly at all anymoreCursing

"People, I just want to say, can we all get along? Can we get along?" Hehe. Sorry, had to try and lighten it up a bit :)

But seriously gents, with the game in such a drastic decline, as we are on life support as it is, it is even more important for those of us left to come together as a community and focus on positive things and try to not to squabble amongst ourselves. Let's be supportive of each other and our beloved game. Are we so far gone as we upset each other? We are the last of the Mohicans (It's ok, I'm Native American). Let's focus on trying to revive the game, to attract new blood and try bringing back old players, that left.

Sorry, this discussion is prob best for a separate post. I digress, let's get more spoilers rolling. I am dying to see at least a few more??????

It's SHNN tonight, so I'm sure there'll be some spoilers.

I always like to take a glass is half full approach about it - it's almost five years since WOTC announced the end of production, but there's still a new v-set every 6 months, there are currently 11 of us participating in the Hutt Regional in New Zealand, GenCon attendance hasn't slid much in the past couple of years, and I had a couple of fun games last night. There are still lots of things to celebrate. The boards always get quiet this time of year.

Spoilers from tonight's SHNN!

I may have missed stuff or misheard. I will relisten to the podcast later on to polish up on them

6/45
Sith Pureblood
21 cost
hp 80
def 17
att +10
dam 20
Melee Attack, Double Attack, Backlash, Indiscriminate, Savage
Virulent Spit Poison (Replaces attacks: range 6; 20 damage to target living enemy; save 16)
I may be missing an SA like Mighty Swing.

I5YQ
cost 27
Rebel
hp 90
def 18
att +10
dam 10
Droid
Double Attack, GMA
Painful Screech (Replaces attacks: 10 damage to each character within 3 squares)

Protective +20 for Jax
laser defense system I believe it is a Save 6 to prevent any attacks from hitting him that are more than 6 squares away.

Both of those are correct. I5YQ is obviously Unique, but besides that that stats are correct. The Sith Pureblood does not have Mighty Swing, nothing was missing from what you posted.

Thanks for the teasers guys. Nice boost to Jax. I5YQ is a cool piece that I will integrate to a rebel squad, and will help me brush the dust off of my Jax mini. Good shit guys!

I like the 2 new pieces. Hopefully we can get a playable Jax Pavan. Nice boost to him from the droid. I'm always eager to try out new pieces with Savage, so it'll be interesting to play one with a higher than usual def for a savage character.

Sweet new pieces, finally I5YQ is here!

Also the game still lives in Northern Alberta Canada. We had a solid regional with good turnout in the summer and the off new player. Still the best game ever

Sets looking ok so far.
I5YQ is a odd one though, need to play the characters (it & Jax) a few times to see if it is worth 27 points.

Also Laranth Tarak for Twin.

GMA For Jax is...kinda weird. Is there a way he can get Double in Rebels I'm not thinking of? He gets Twin from Tarak and easy access to mobile from Rieekan has GMA seem weird...I like the rest of what I5YQ does though, he will be fun to pair with Laranth and Jax

If his Camraderie is worded exactly as is provided above he only helps original Jax, if its worded like Laranth's it would help future Jax as well (which would probably explain GMA)

There might be yet a unnamed rebel or fringe that might grant GMA in this set. it would be a lot of points though really to support one character, as the ones mentioned so far are ok with the right support but not in the combination as it is now (too many points unless its a mass battle). Still so few of this set has been spoiled so there might be something in this set (or indeed sets to come) that could make them shine.

I haven't listened to that SHNN yet, so I don't know if there was an issue with what they said or with what was heard, but here are the official stats for I5:

Force 1? Our second droid with a Force Rating.

Allies whose name contains PAVAN. I don't know much about Jax, are there other Pavans running around?
