I voted in this a while ago, but I'm pretty sure I voted for Mas. I wish commander effects were all limited to 6 spaces or less. Makes the game more strategic. Then again, WotC probably needs lots of young kids playing to keep it viable, so if power creep is the price we have to pay then so be it.

Too cheap for what he gives and, alongside Ozzel and San, is more than half the reason OR, Mando, Sith, and Vong can't really compete. I would not be opposed to any action taken against Dodonna, and I'm one of his fans.

Rieekan, closely followed by Dodonna. There are no drawbacks to either figures. Its 23 points that should be in every Rebel squad > 100 points.

Which I find quite insulting to the New Republic, given that they have to spend 23 points to get a weaker version of Rieekan's CE. ThumbDown

For me its dodonna. He's extremely powerfull for just 9 points. THe other act control guys HAVE to do just one or have line of sight for their ce to work. My gf hats him so much she has hidden mine somewhere in my house so i cant use him against her.

I would say none of them, since I enjoy each and every piece, although if there is one I would like to see perhaps toned down or re done it would be my own factions IG lancer droid, this thing is way to powerful. yea but at least lancers only com in the battle pack. THey are only so good with GGdac. I agree that he is overpowered. I play him but he is to powerful. i also think ggdac squads can be competitve. especially in tile wars

There's still enough of the IGs around to show up at tourneys. And unless built to fight them (i.e. lots of parry/block/riposte/disruptive/etc...) these are very hard to beat. Grievous is a nice boost to the faction to make them competitive again it's just some of his new friends that have tipped the balance a bit to far in their favour. Hopefully lots of Ion using jawas will tone down that number.

The issue is that he provides activation control.. with the lowest cost and highest benefit. AND he has NO downside. Atleast the other activation control figures (San and Ozzel) have the limiting drawback of ONLY 1 per turn (which is strategically limiting). The others (Mar, tarkin, Veed) need LOS, thus exposing them to harm.

Finally, while I love Affinity, the fact that he provides that control to 2 factions is just more irritaing.

Another note is that playing Dodonna 'dumbs' down the game for players. If you continue to play with a mindset that 'oh I'll activate you and then attack', you think yourself into a box and can't deal with abnormal or surprising situations.

GG-DAC.

the most broken piece in the game. Absolutely over-powered. No one else even comes close.

lol ? DAC isn´t overpowered as Dodonna or Riekaan. He cost 57 Points what makes him absolutely not competitive.

Lol? Back at you. At 150 you might be right, but at 200 you are dead wrong. My local scene (North Texas, which has numerous gen-conners) is heavily Sep/Droid Dominated. GG-DAC is the piece that is on each and every single one of those. Melee only it's GGDAC and t1 droids, normal rules its GGDAC and x1 vipers.

I'd go with Yobuck. He makes an entire strategy (swarms) unplayable. The other people listed are strong, but they can all be "fixed" easily by leveling the playing field and giving other factions similar (not identical) abilities. For instance, mouse droids are a great substitute for Mas - if only they were common instead of uncommon. Since they're uncommon we really need another piece (or 3!) that have Relay Orders or a similar SA.

Totally. And while we have the Lancer and Clone Speeder which can easily do similar damage when boosted (with flight to boot), they can be taken out quickly once caught. 160 Hp and 20 Def is a mighty big hill to climb. Yeah, it's Yoda, he should be tough. Denying him access to swapping by putting him on a large base would have made things a lot different.

Dodonna, by a huge margin. Rieekan costing only 14 points and providing mobile attack is annoying, overpowered, and frankly gratuitous (who raised their hand during design and said, I dunno, maybe people won't play him if all he does is give every single ally evade?), but overall Rieekan is a good thing for the game. If Rieekan was a fringe piece, the game would benefit enormously because the BS megashooting squads that have dominated from day one are pretty much dead. Dodonna, on the other hand, has no redeeming factors. He lets you half your activation rate, except when you want to. That basically forces everyone else to either play their own activation control just to be able to respond to their opponent's actions, or build squads specifically to reduce opposition activations by killing stuff early. Dodonna is simultaneously the best activation control and the cheapest, and splashes into two of the stronger factions (the ones that already have evade and mobile). Honestly he is just offensive.

Boba BH does give the new player a small chance of getting that lucky 20 to win the game. Generally the better player will still win.

There are still the Disintigrating Gotals to worry about...........
