Make no mistake, I still love the ability. Just not surprised that it was changed.

Sorry all, when I posted the ability around 3-4am, I was really tired and about to go to bed.

Well, we now have the stats for Kir Kanos. From over at Wizos (credit goes to Sith-Lord-54):
Kir Kanos cost 34 HP 110 Defense 21 Attack 13 Damage 20 SA Twin, loner, Melee, Palpy's Bodyguard Force points 2 Force Sense
I'm somewhat disappointed that he doesn't have Parry. Love the high defense, but he's going to need swap help. Good thing IE Thrawn can do that and grant him Opportunist.

He is an amazing cheap swapper. +17 for 20 or +21 for 30 with Opportunist. And a cheap source of Force Sense is great for Imps. Will definately be a fun piece.
Oh, and you may want to check Gamers...

Oh, and you may want to check Gamers... Yeah, he's not bad. The cheaper source of Force Sense alone is fantastic. That's 16 points you save versus Unleashed Vader. Of course you don't play Vader JUST for Force Sense. I think Kanos + Opportunist Thrawn + upcoming Veers could be nasty. He could make you pay for missing. Oh, I did see the other stats over at Gamers. I'm bummed over the lack of Affinity (again).

The designers and/or Lucas obviously don't want K'Kruhk to have Affinity. With all the rumored Affinity already in this set, I'm just shocked K'Kruhk is not among those with Affinity.

And he would have been a very useful New Republic piece, to boot! Combine that Impulsive Advance with Anakin Solo and an Exceptional Jedi Apprentice and your little Logray would have been free to run around pinning support pieces for practically the entire game! Then, of course, there's the old Leia/Wedge/TBSV combination... I don't suppose hoping for a New Republic K'Kruhk in MOTF would be too much to ask for?

The 501st Legion Clone Commander's CE helps Captain Rex, 501st Commander and with Flobi's CE Rex could fly in and base a force user and have 17 attack 40 damage and triple attack and then greater mobile out without taking an AOO. Sweet.

Sweet. Oh my I hadn't even thought of this possibility! Certainly gives a reason to play GaW Rex over the older CW version. Of course the CE is situational at best for the 501st characters. Still not sure that means you play GaW Rex over the CW one. Now if the 501st Rex had Twin, it would be a whole different story.

If i want the ce i use the CW one.

Like I said in my other post, if only had Twin Attack....

What's this about Dark Temptation? It's nearly identical to Kir's and K'Khruk's abilities, except Ferus switches sides if he fails the save. I think it might also give +20 damage, too. I know one of them does.

You mean Dass's. His gives +4 +20, but at risk of defeat.

Sadly, the full stats pulled down the wrath of WOTC. Good thing we have two great sites for backup.
