god blastedit they didn't give us another rare or very rare for the mando's. They gave use a 8 point piece that most mandalorian players such as my self could use that 8 points in a much better way. I hate to say this, but this is why SWM is over and is dieing. They kept on giving us repeats of character, yes i know why they do it. I just also understand why this game is dieing, It's sad yes.
if anyone can make a sweet Cassus Fett, custom figure i would be very willing to buy it, just BM me please.

I can assure you that if this wasn't the last set, we would all be singing its praises. JA has to be highly praised for some reason. The Taun gives the Mandos something they highly needed: cheap fodder. Look at those stats, and tell me that doesn't give you a reason to break out the old Unique commanders you CAN'T use with the current mandos due to cost.

I am looking forward to playing those Taung Warriors with Mandalore the Indomitable. Maybe throw in a Mando Captain for good measure.

Absolutely right on target Scott. This was a much more needed piece for Mandos than another 40-60pt unique would have been in terms of playability.

In the vein of this discussion, I wish the Sith had been given some support in the way of middle-cost Commanders or cheap, usable filler. Troopers just don't cut it, nor do 60-80 point beatsticks!

However, most of the CEs require the Guard (and troopers) to be standing still. Hard to do with only 10 HPs.

(and maybe the ani FS..though, he does look pretty cool) . those two slots could've been made into some otehr much needed remakes...such as ki-adi-mundi, a new nihilus (yea, he really needed a remake IMO), or even some "never realeased" figs, such as Gyrph (forgot how to spell his name), Emp Papy reborn, etc. etc. though, im not ranting, just wishful thinking...:D overall though, an awesome set!

I fully expect them to give General Solo a CE that says "Allies in your squad get Death Shot (Any characters attacked by this character are defeated, save 16)" ;)

So, no new Bane or Zannah. Oh hey, I just read it closer and look: " (Republic) Masters of the Force" Is it really that bad, that WOTC remakes a character, fails, and has to remake the character again in the next set or two? I know they make the same old characters(Han, Vader, etc.) that people can recognize and will buy boosters for that reason, but do those people really outnumber the pissed off fans who want to see new characters and may not buy boosters just cuz they don't want a tenth Vader?

I think we have to ask ourselves: did Wizards KNOW that this was going to be their last set when they designed it?
The answer to that question is huge when considering all the negativity we're getting about these new figs. Maybe they were like: "ok so after Masters we'll do the one with Jaina Sword, General Jacen, New Rep Chewie, and a dozen characters that only the fans will know about because they read it in an obscure comic/novel.
It IS possible. That being said, The Han is just as much for New rep as Rebel so it's ok. We haven't seen Lando for a LONG time so don't worry about it.
The only complaint I can see as valid is Kit Fisto showing up again so soon. Otherwise this set is looking rather posh

Yeah, forget what I said about Saesee & Momentum & Mobile. Bad example. Still, Mobile and Djem So is potent ways to addin some extra damage.

Oh man, I can just imagine a Gryph piece. He could be really awesome with some creative abilities that fit his character. Like:
Perfect Con: (replaces turn); 1 adjacent enemy convinced to become ally for single round (if activated, target activated enemy may take an activation anytime during the remainder of the round as an ally).
That would be awesome.

Hey Sith, your wrong sorry bro. First off its Taung warriors not Taun. Second your happy they gave you a 8 point piece, thats melee? I understand your point however i don't agree, let me tell you why. A captain is 23 Taung - 8 x 3 Mouse Droid -3 = 50 points This is just an example of a taung squad, anyone that plays mando's would put in a captain for those nice twin attacks. Sure you could put in a Mandalore for at least 68 points which would make this have to be a 150 point squad. Let me ask you if this looks anywhere close enough to beet a speedy cannon? The answer is no. In my post i was asking for cassus fett, and you called me out saying that this piece is what mando's need? How the hell do you figure. I would much rather have a r7 droid, for override, then a 40 point melee character with 6 attack. Ask any experienced player and they will tell you that the 8 points it cost ofr these guys could be much better spent on fringe characters. Plus don't forget the point cost its going to take to make these guys good enought to do some damage. I was asking for cassus, which you thought was a bad idea. If you know anything about mandalorians you would know that he was Mandalore's field general. A piece like cassus would of hopefully been like a riekeen or wedge. It would of cost a lot more points because he was a fighter and not just a general. However i was hoping he would have a good CE. Lets face it Mando's are actually a preety good fraction, there just missing some good CE's. I was hoping for evade for mando's or twin for all allies. I was just hoping for a good unique piece that would give them that extra little push they needed to be tier 1. However i got some 8 point solider that nice to look at, at first yet will die quick with melee and no defensive moves. Wizards made SWM, yet some of the fractions just got safted up the ass. Vong have only 3 uniques and mando's only 4. As opposed to Rebels that have over 50 or so. What was the reason? It can't be price. If you look at the most expensive figure's most of them aren't from the movies, but are from the expanded universe. Right now on bloomilk, the top 3 most expensive pieces are 1.boba fett, bounty hunter 2.Darth Revan 3.Aurra Sing Boba Fett is in the movies yet he only has a total of about maybe 12 scenes, with maybe 4 talking lines. (that's being nice) Revan isn't even talked about in the movie he's from the video game KOTOR. As for Aurra Sing, she's in the episode 1 for about a tenth of a secound in the pod race. She's popular from comics and books just like fett. (Fett's popular because lets just face it fett's the best, theres no question about that.) My point is EU characters are there biggest seller's why wouldn't they make more. I also checked the price, and for single pieces in a fraction mandalorians are the most expensive fraction. Which is because there the most wanted Sith, i don't think i have to explain supply and demand to you. After all this is said, it leads me to wonder why the hell they wouldn't make more unique mando's? The answer is simple, there idoits. Thats why the games not going to be made anymore. It hurts me to say this, and for everyone that may get mad by me saying this, take a secound and think. Did WOTC really make your favorite SWM piece? I know they didn't make mine. It would of been a Boba Fett, Mandalore. I hope that you can see just why i wanted cassus and why i said what i said sith.

I'm gonna be SUPER POSITIVE and say that WotC will hop back on the SWMs boat when the economy picks up. There'd be Soooooooooooooooooooooooo many minis to make with characters from The Old Republic and Force Unleashed II sets. Add Clone Wars Season 3 and you already have some ideas for at LEAST 4 sets.

I accept your positivity Nynja..., but I'm wary of your Cunning Attack (+50). :-D
And Robin, just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean they are attacking you. We're all cool with your suggestions. We like that you have stuff to offer. I don't think Sithborg was railing on you at all. I think he was being super cool by using diplomacy for a greater cause. If we all get worked up about how this last set is "sooo bad," less of us are going to buy and we'll all slowly slip away from the game even faster. Sithborg wants us to stick around to enjoy the maximum amount of fun we can possibly have. Ultimately, he wants to keep the game alive for all of us (so that nynja's prophesy is fulfilled). He just wants us to be happy with the set. So do I. I'm psyched about it. Heck, I REALLY WANT LORD HOTH!!!
That said, Nynja, I choose to believe in your positivity and eagerly await the return of the "Chosen Game."
